I've attached () a DWG file, which have 2 layers, I need to create / close polygons using the TRAIL layer, however the TRAIL layer in some sections cross with NETWORK, and so the polygon is not created. How can I create a polygon from the moment that TRAIL touches the first line NETWORK? See the images below:

Thank you

@mr_fme

Hi.

Here is a screen of the workspace doing it.

I must say I wasted some time to find your topology of the trail is not solid.

That is why there is a snapper with a 1m range(!)

I'll try upload (if it gets past the firewall here.mrfme_forum.fmw

In case fileupload fails, here is a screen.

the workspace upload fails.

It seems the full path is inserted. My file location h:\\documents\\my..etc. is inserted?? see fmw link.

Hi @gio,

Your result was fantastic, that's exactly what I need!!. But I'm in trouble ... it was not possible to download your workspace unfortunately. I used the image you sent to build the workspace, my Intersector transformer is not generating the correct number of features, see also the final result.

Could you help me?

Thank´s

@mr_fme

You should be able to upload your workspace, yes?

Seem like the LineExtender is not giving sufficient objects. But I can't see it.

Do you have the outside port on the bottom clipper ?

I am assuming you are using same data as you posted of course.

@mr_fme

HI.

I have the bottom Clipper set to not generate aggregates. (they standardly do; something I often forget..)

That might account for the difference.

outside port from bottom clipper

@mr_fme

Hi,

The top clipper should have Clippees on boundary = treat as outside.

If I change that inyour workbench, it works as intended.

Hi, @gio

I was able to download your workspace. And solved my problem. Thank you very much

Hi @gio and others,

Now I need to do the same thing I did with network to cut, but also using park, I inserted the park layer and the following error appears:

INDEX FAILURE - requested predicate not implemented

I need help

follows my workspace: clip_areas.fmwt

@mr_fme

first:clip_areas.fmw

The index-failure is caused by the identical geometrical objects, as pointed out by @takashi. In this set you have the hatches as well as the polygons. (somehow the recent dissolver is sensitive about identity..;)

Filter out the hatches before dissolving.

Here is the adapted workspace to add parks. Hope you can upload.
