I have a workspace that I am attaching here . Its function is to cut the trails using the first network limit, now besides making this cut, I also need to cut the trails using park, but always creating polygons with the remaining cut parts. P.S. all input file are DWG    In this workspace if I use only network works perfectly (see image), but if I enter the park layer, the following error below appears:  INDEX FAILURE - requested predicate not implemented  Why does it happen? Can you help me? Thank´s

I have a workspace that creates a csv file, that I want to upload to a ftp server.Should I use one workspace or two? One option that I am considering is to have two workspaces. The first creates the csv file and places it in a directory. The second workspace is just the FTPCaller (triggered by a creator) and runs when the first workspace successfully completes.Or, is it possible to have a single workspace, that both creates a csv and uploads it to the ftp site?

I have tried multiple combinations, but it seems the "Max Features to Read Per Feature Type" value is being ignored. I have 14 Feature Classes selected in my "FEATURE_TYPES" Published Parameter, so hence, if I set the value to 2, it should read 28 records but unfortunately it seems to only read 2 records from a random Feature Class. I've attached () a DWG file, which have 2 layers, I need to create / close polygons using the TRAIL layer, however the TRAIL layer in some sections cross with NETWORK, and so the polygon is not created. How can I create a polygon from the moment that TRAIL touches the first line NETWORK? See the images below:  Thank you

Hi all!  I need the adjacent feature within a loop but I get the error that Attribute Manager is a blocking transformer and therefore it won't work. I use blocking transformers in linked custom transformers all the time and it works fine. Is there a particular reason that you can't use the Attribute Manager within a loop?   Thanks!

Just a confirmation on FME specifications.Does FME support "ZIP64" (allowing to create larger than 4GB archive) on every 64-bit platform - Windows, Linux and MacOS - for writing features into a destination archive?

Anyone have any ideas on how to continue around this? When I have downloaded the file myself, it seems that I can unzip it and open it just fine in like notepad++, but FME is having issues... In the past this occasionally happened, but it still ran successfully 1 out of 8 or 9 times, but it has been throwing errors the past 3 days. I am trying to create a process that will do a few things:1. I need to create mile points between a beginning mile point and an ending mile point.2. Hi, Im trying to Convert a DFX file to a GDB. The CAD file is a repesntation of a Piping System. The conversion runs successfully but pipes that run vertically (along x axis) loose their shape length. For the Reader in the format attribute tab: autocad_color, autocad_entity, autocad_layer, fme_attrib_info{}.field_value are checked. I'm using FME Desktop 2014, AutoCAD 2013, ArcGIS/ArcScene 10.1The DFX is 2007 Format  

I have a huge shape file which contains whole country data. i have one more file which contains a boundary. for example we can say zipcode boundary. i wnated to write the features falling inside this boundary.FMe's fearure merger or area overlayer reads all the features and checks with the boundary if it is intersects or not. this process takes too long. I need some kind of mechanism which will read only the features which is near (buffer) to the boundary. or any kind... or method. reading whole country data is not recommended rught? How can we process fast ?can anyone from the team help me?

Have ArcGIS Pro 2.2.4 installed on an AWS box with the "Data Interoperability" license but on the Analysis ribbon, the Workbench icon is grayed out and says "This command is currently disabled. Authorize and enable the Data Interoperability Extension to access this functionality." Been on the phone with Esri and they want me to switch from a Named User to a concurrent license but that is not an option right now for me. They are thinking the remote desktop is blocking the license somehow and to try using Process Monitor to find the issue...not much fun! Anyone else have this issue? I know this is more an Esri issue but not making much progress on that end. Side note - I have ArcGIS Pro installed locally as well and do NOT have this issue. Trying the leverage the super duper Graphics Bundle we have on the AWS box for processing.

Hi, I've created some published parameters for some tranformers, I used Choice with Alias for all parameters and they all have same set of aliases. For example, choice "2000" represents 576 of rows and columns in Tiler and represents E of attribute value of AttributeCreator. Every time I ran the workbench I have to set every published parameter into 2000.I'm wondering if I can create a universal published parameter of these published parameters, so I only need to choose one time every time I run the workbench.@takashi @DaveAtSafe @david_r @jdh @Mark2AtSafe

Hello,please, I have question about line merging. I have got data of furniture in buidling, but e.g. chest of drawers in 2D is chopped into 29 lines (check my pic below). What I need - merge all lines into one line feature. Unfortunately, there is no attribute what can define ID or unit of chest of drawers, so the geometry aggregation must be based on spatial touch. In drawing, there are lot of chests of drawers, not just one.Any tips please?Thank You so much!Lubo

Hi, I have 2 AGOL layers a polygon layer and a point layer were i need to snap the polygons to the points based on a unique asset ID. The points are in the right location and i have 4000 of the polygons grouped over 1 of the points but need them to move to their corresponding point.

Hi FME community  I try to count the number of points (from *.las point cloud) in a solid. The solid comes from an extruded polygon.  The goal of it is to figure out if the point cloud matches an existing 2D CAD Plan. To do this I take the polyline of the walls and extrude them. Afterwards I would like to count the number of point inside the extruded solid (wall). If this results in many points I can assume that the wall is correct - if not the wall must be incorrect.  It would be great if someone has any idea and can help me. Hi I have lots of features that have a datetime and some attributes, I need to group all the ones that happen in the same day on a single line. I have an elasticsearch instance that requires a password for writing. Am I understanding this correctly that FME can't write to a secure elastic search?

Hi,I don't find out if there is a rule to manage the execution order between a SQLExecutor and a Postgres Writer.I want that the SQLExecutor is executed before the Writer because it makes a backup of the table before writing.And I can't use the "SQL to run before write" field in my writer because I use feature values in my SQL instruction and this field doesn't handle feature values. The strange thing is that in one of my Workspace the SQLExecutor is executed before the writer and in another the Writer is executed before the SQLExecutor (the second one handles far more data).I tried to change the horizontal and vertical order of both but that doesn't change anything. Thanks for any help,Christian

Hi, My question might be more of a bug report. Anyway, I noticed that my workflow didn't register a specific testfilter as 'incomplete', whereas other transformers usually do so. If I open the testfilter and have a look at the testclauses, then I do indeed see the 'old'/ 'non-available' attributes marked in red... Any others experiencing issues with this? Kind regards, Thijs 

Ive seen great work is being done to bring FME Server to Docker but im keen to know more about deploying FME server on a kubernetes cluster. I found a github repo for FME server helm charts but there doesnt seem to be much supporting documentation or press releases detailing the progress of this work by Safe. Are these Helm charts in a usable state?

Dear FME community. I need to make a process in a workbench.In this process I've to write few data in Postgres table and I've to read this data for continu the process.For this I thought to use a FeatureWriter and a FeatureWriter with a connection, but the problem is the FeatureReader read x time all the data of the table than the number of insertion in the table from FeatureWriter.Do you know how can I do that ?Thanks.
