Though experienced with reading WFS's, I'm a little bit frustrated about reading a WFS2.0 in the FeatureReader. It seems it is not paginating. Checking the WFS GetCapabilities, 'FeaturePaging’ is not mentioned.I want to query the WFS with a polygon. So that is my initiator. But I'm not sure whether the results exceeding the 50k or 100k or even 200k. That's why I want some sort of ‘FeaturePaging’. Anyone an idea on how to solve my issue? It's probably simple, but I can't see it at the moment.

Quick Question.. I’m trying to use the SharepointOnlineConnector transformer to access/download contents in my OneNote, but no luck so far and now I’m questioning if this is even possible?I can’t find any examples or information of this anywhere. 

Today we saw this broadcast message from Safe Software on our FME Flow servers (2023.2.2):The link in the message is not working and I do not see any recent security issues. We have only external ports configured for dynamic engines and licenses. The FME Flow instance is not accesible from outside out network.I find a strange that they can create broadcast messages on our servers.That is all a bit suspicious, is anyone else experiencing the same? 

How i have atleast 20+ AttributeManager in my FME workbench and this take a lot of my time in editing each of them every time..... When i delete / rename any of my headers......is there better way when i rename / delete Input Attribute it reflects the changes till the end ?

Am creating three sets of numbers from one source file. Each set has a different attribute structure. I want to fan these out into separate tabs of an Excel spreadsheet, using a created attribute that is common to the three streams, but has a different value for each. Have tried every permutation of setting I can think of in the Writer/dynamic schema defn, and cannot get it to respect the three different attribute schemas. Feels like this should be easy, but…..🤔

I am using FME Form 2021. I have a table with vehicles listed by department.  Vehicle 1234 Department 1Vehicle 4532 Department 1Vehicle 5645 Department 2Vehicle 8472 Department 3 When a new record (example: a vehicle) is added to the table, I want an email to be sent only if the new vehicle is associated with a specific department. For example, Vehicle 6577 is added to the table and is associated with Department 3; thus, an email would be sent notifying the recipient that a new vehicle has been added. However, if the vehicle is associated with Department 1, then no email would be sent.  What Transformer(s) that would trigger the email do you recommend I use to achieve this? It sounds like ChangeDetector could be an option, but I am only using a single table.

I am more comfortable with FME so hopefully FME would be the winner here.The workflow I am trying to achieve for the business user is to have a GIS editable feature layer containing field summaries translate into a docx with a table template (ideally with the same attributes as the GIS feature layer).A sample of the table template in the docx is below:Any time a new field summary project gets entered into the GIS editable feature layer, ideally, a net new Word document with a separate table with populated values from the GIS editable feature layer will populate in the corresponding values in the table within the docx. Before I updated to Form 2024.1.2.0, when I added a writer it would automatically name the Feature/Table and assign the geometry type. Also, if there were multiple readers in the workspace the add writer function would prompt to select individual or all feature/table names associated with the readers. Now the writers have to be individually added, named, and assigned a geometry type. This can be very tedious and time prohibitive in many cases (which goes against all things FME). Is there a default setting that I’m missing?

I am using FME Form 2021.In the Emailer Transformer Message - Body (Text Editor), Can someone tell me the proper HTML syntax to make text bold?<b>Total Number of Vehicles:<b><br><br>Number of Vehicles by Division- Using the above syntax, the email sent shows all the text is bold, including “Number of Vehicles by Division-”. I only need “Total Number of Vehicles:” to be bold. 

Firstly I combined my building objs by Aggregator, then I separated them by Deaggregator, finally to b3dm. I have coordinates of those building objs but All building overlapped in Cesium, How can i locate the buildings according to coordinates.

 Hi, I am retrieving data through an API using an HTTP caller. The data consists of points and lines. My plan is to pull this data, perform some attribute mapping, and then POST it to a website. However, I'm having trouble extracting geometry after flattening the JSON data. I used a Geometry Replacer, but it fails every time I run it. The error message says:INVALID_PARAMETER_GEOMETRY_SOURCEI would appreciate any assistance with this!

I am in the process of working on an integration between Cityworks and ArcGIS Urban. While I am well-versed in using the HTTPCaller transformer for REST APIs in FME Desktop, after s few hours of working with an HTTPCaller, the only way I was able to make a GraphQL API call was using a PythonCaller with some custom code using the requests library. For now, the PythonCaller route will work well enough, but I would rather lean on the HTTPCaller for when others have to take over this integration who are not Pythonistas.

Hi,I have a file of points which correspond to buildings. Each point or building has a number of apartments (total 9000). from this layer, I would like to create zones for every 500 apartments, without intersection. I tried the neighbor finder with sorter assending on the distance then range mapper attributes but the result is not good because I should not have any intersection between the polygons. Help please :) Thanks a lot   

Hi.I’ve just upgraded my local FME Flow from 2024.0.1 to 2024.2.1 using an engine only upgrade.I.e. install FME parallel to the previous engine, and change the configured template path.The interface is thus still 2024.0.1.The FME Flow interface starts, but the engine never shows up in its list.I’ve tried to run the new fme.exe directly, and it seems to be running.What unforeseen pitfall have I stumbled into ?Cheers.

Hi folks, I had some urgent need at my workplace, as the GIS database administrator working in a electricity distribution company, I was required to draft out various district data to be used by another department which will require me to decode and clean the data to enable them understand the data format based on their needs. I tried using manual method of copy and past after extracting this data from the database but it was time consuming.I tried FME and I was able to create a workflow using two transformers FeatureJoiner and Matcher and I am happy how this workflow was able to query the two excel files added to the left and right part of the FeatureJoiner transformer thereby giving me the output based on joined attributes file, one is coming as a number and varchar.  Feel free to connect with me on linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/in/anthony-ezema/ 

Hello,  I am using a no-fault FME Flow architecture: 2 engines. Should the engines be restarted regularly, for example, each month? What does Safe Software recommend?How often do you restart the engines? When do you restart the engines?

I am looking to extract data from AGOL to store in a separate table and filter the data by its date field. Essentially I will schedule this every evening to collate all the data with todays date, or run this early morning and filter on ‘Yesterdays’ date. How do I configure the tester transformer to reflect what I need.  Any help is greatly appreciated,

Hello,I am experiencing some odd behaviour with the FeatureReader when trying to read in a schema from a Feature Class in a FGDB. I am using the “path_windows” attribute that contains the location of the gdb. When run like this, I often get a rejected message (see Caption 2). When I add in the hard coded full path into the Dataset field of the FeatureReader, the data gets read correctly. What is strange is that this has been working fine in the previous weeks when I had developed it. It only appears to be an issue since today. It also seems to read successfully when I run the workbench with caching to the Aggregator before the Feature Reader, then running again from the aggregator (no settings have been changed). I have tried using the path_unix field instead, but get the same error. I have also tried other datasets, but get the same issue.Has anyone experienced similar behaviour when using the FeatureReader with a GDB?… and any ideas to help with the stability of the run? I am researching options for a GIS data catalog and data lineage system. There are some GIS data catalog tools out there (Ex. Voyager) but they lack a method to store the ETL lineage information. For example, I'd want to map that the Streets feature class in my Oracle geodatabase is sync'd to an AGOL feature layer named "City Streets" every night at 3AM.  Some of the data lineage tools on the market can connect to ETL applications (Informatica, Azure Data Factory, etc.) and scan them to get source/target information from all the tasks configured in the system. I haven't seen Safe/FME show up as being supported by any of these products. So I'm curious if anyone's come across a product that can scan for this stuff. Alternatively there's always manually populating these systems by reviewing all the FME Server job logs and investigating source/targets in the workspaces.
