I'm using the EsriReprojector with source RD_New to destination GCS_WGS_1984 and geographic Transformation Amersfoort_To_WGS_1984_NTv2. Later I need my features to go back to RD New so I use the EsriReprojector again with the source and destination switched and the geographic transformation direction set to Reverse. But this gives me a different coordinate system: _Netherlands-RDNew-2008_0 instead of Netherlands-RDNew-2008 (what it used to be). Why is this a problem? Everything is projected with an offset of 100m.  When using geographic transformation Amersfoort_To_WGS_1984_2008_MB in reverse it seems to be fixed. Yet it still gives me the new coordinate system _Netherlands-RDNew-2008_0 Why, how, and will this give me problems when overwriting layers with Netherlands-RDNew-2008?  Any dutchies with the same question? 

Looking to use these building footprints from Google, and they're in a format I haven't heard of before, a 'spatially sharded CSV'. Has anyone ever worked with this dataset or know how I could read in the spatial data? Here's more info from the page at Google Research: Building polygonsBuilding polygons are stored in spatially sharded CSVs with one CSV per S2 cell level 4. We just upgraded from 2018 to 2021 and like the new option of "Streams". Using this for a RabbitMQ job and working great! But my question is around creating a stream for a job without a stream mode transformer.  The documentation says the following: "The workspace must contain a transformer that can run in Mode: Stream" This made me think it would not work, but tried it in place of a job we currently use the "Run Until Cancelled" option with and it seems to be working fine. The job is just constantly polling a REST API with an HTTPCaller for updates to real-time data (wish the vendor had an event based option but do not).  I like the idea of having all our near real-time integrations running in this separate grouping of streams. And that you can dedicate an engine to it vs. Run Until Cancelled just grabbing any which one and holding on to it. Any concerns with using streams like this or know why the documentation seems to imply it will not work?

Hi, I'm trying to run a workspace in FME Server. It has a few different KML writers, each one with a "Filename (output)" parameter for the output file. It works fine in FME Desktop, but when I run it in FME Server with the same parameters (Manage Schedules -> Enter parameters -> Trigger), I get some errors (I'm replacing the actual path elements with "blah" to avoid any problems with the client's security policies): KML: The file `\\\\blah\\blah\\blah\\' has an invalid or unsupported extension `'KML: Parent folder `\\\\blah\\blah\\blah\\' does not exist.KML: Cannot write to dataset `\\\\blah\\blah\\blah\\blah blah.kml'KML: Error initializing writerOGCKML writer: A fatal error has occurred. So I was given a workbench that was quite extensive and it has a lot of junctions. These junctions were only added so that annotations could be placed on a specific location for readability. This doesn't sit well with me because feature caching is on and the workbench is prone to memory issues already. Also, I don't like the cluttering. But it makes sense to get the annotations where you want. However, after reading several posts it is still not clear to me whether junctions add to the cache or not. Can somebody tell me whether they do add to the cache or not?

I'm trying to build a workspace that will allow users to select a file, identify X and Y attribute names using published parameters and have it be translated AND transformed. I found the Easy Translator demo, which covers the translated part of what I'm trying to do (and is broken - I submitted an issue on GitHub). Now I'm getting stuck on the transformation part as the attribute names are read in as a feature, and the actual attribute names are coming through as col0 ... col5, etc.I need to get to a point where I can either identify what column number that the attribute names are that they listed in the published parameters, or ideally rename the col0 attribute to the actual name that it is.

In attached workspace I get unexpected DuplicateFilter behavior, The Inspector result is, Since the two features have the same value for the nombre_cientifico attribute, I am confused with the unique port output. Any suggestion?

I have a directory watch which triggers a workspace. This Workspace should be executed only once. But unfortunately with every detected file/folder a job starts. I have a column in a table with names and I want to find the ones with alphanumeric string and replace it with a null value. Apparently this is erroneous data in the table.  Sample Data in the column NAME:GREEN-BROWN TREES --> Leave as isFORT/STRONG -> Leave as isPEACE RIVER --> Leave as is3T7H8HF54FD --> This is the data I want to find and replace with Null Greatly appreciated. Thank you.

can we connect to sde database and create our own version in FME? I would like to automate some processes that require editing in sde but in a version so we can verify changes before posting to the default database.

I added a dropbox web connection with my concern user, everything worked out. After that, I wanted to add another dropbox web connection, but this time with another user. Unfortunately the login did not work out (see screenshot). I tried to clear cache and cookies from my standard browser, change standard browser to be sure that nothing is cached in the background, but still the same message appeared. I also tried to delete the other web connection, but still same issue occured.Does anyone have ideas how to solve this?

FME Desktop 2020.0.0.0: How to filter based on exact two values? For example, in the screenshot below, I wanted to filter all the values that exactly have the number “10” Or “11”.  Then why the “101”, “102”, “110” are filtered with the syntax above?      

I'm using the FuzzyParallelLineFinder and want to aggregate the line pair geometries that were identified. Then, turn into a CAD block with unique ID, and/or WKT format in a spreadsheet.  The way it identifies parallel lines is : _line_id of one feature = _match_id of another and vice versa.  I attached a Dynamo script picture that does what I am looking for.  Thanks,@larue​  

I am able to create separate Excel files for each data source processed in the batch routine (consecutively), but can't figure out how to append the output of each translation into one file. The schema is the same throughout. Thanks, @larue
