On our server we use FME Server 2013 SP3 (Build 13528 - linux-x64). We also use FME Desktop to make our workbenches. A colleague told me that I need to use the same version of FME Desktop if I want the workbench to work without problems. So I think I need FME Desktop 2013 SP3. However, I cannot find this version on the FME Download site, and I read that I need to contact support. Is this the right version for me, and if so, where can I download the installer?  Thanks in advance!

I have a ESRI REST API and using HTTP caller to get the response in an attribute. Now I need to pass the ESRI JSON response body to the feature reader and get the geometry out of it. But, when I tried passing the response body all the features are getting rejected. May I know a possible way to get the features out of the HTTP caller response body stored in an attribute?

Hi,I am exporting a contour featureclass into AutoCAD, Geopackage, and shapefiles using the FeatureWriter transformer by exporting by contour grid. My contour featureclass is in 1km2 grids (255 grids) and is set up in the FeatureWriter to write out$(External_Location)\\Contours\\@Value(GRID)_DWG.zip where @value(grid) is the contour grid and "_DWG.zip" allows me to easily search/select from within the folder each format (the others being "_SHP.zip" and "_GEO.zip").The setting under General--> Layer Name: @value(GRID)For shapefiles the shapefile is just the grid name (ie.50-75.shp within folder 50-75_SHP.zip) but for geopackage and autocad the folder naming schema extends to the layer within despite the general layer name being set to @value(GRID) (ie. 50-75_DWG.dwg within folder 50-75_DWG.zip). Am I missing a setting? 

Hi,I am trying to concatenate a string. The attribute I am using in the concatenation has been extracted from JSON into a list then exploded into an attribute. However, the string concatenator is not ignoring the attribute, the result just has the other string values concatenated together without the attribute value.Any pointers would be much appreciated. Is there anyone who is using FME scheduler to automate SAP jobs? Our company is using SAP ERP software and we want to automate SAP jobs. SAP has its own job scheduler but it lacks many advanced features we are looking for . Like we want the scheduler to run periodic jobs which can ran only on working days with different parameters and dependencies like the next job should start only after finishing the first job ; the second job should run after n +1 days after the first job etc... Some jobs will run on some days but it should have different run date like if it is running tonight , it should populate yesterdays' date as the job date. Can anyone please let me know if FME server has these kind of advanced features to automate jobs?

I need to use a transformer so I can have as output the attributes all together, the points that are inside a polygon, which ones I may be using?

Is there a way to actively monitor FME Cloud data transfer amounts? The dashboard allows transfer rates (Kb/sec) to be viewed but not amounts. Can a report be run to show data transfer amounts broken down into hourly, daily or other intervals?As data transfer and storage is billed as an additional cost to the per hour usage amount, it would be nice to be able to track this.

Hi,We've just recently begun to adopt the MBTiles format for offline map viewing.What I expect is a TMS setup, with every tile level at its optimal resolution, i.e. w/o undue pixellation.I've made some test, but it seems that the MBTiler writer only accepts a raster image, i.e. an already fixed resolution. This results in a pixellated lowest (or highest?) level.How do I create an MBTiles dataset from my vector map data, with full resolution on all levels ?The WebMapTiler also expects raster input, so that's not immidiatedly an option.Any insights are appriciated. I have a problem to calculate the heading of 2 points in a line in my template. In the 2 pictures you can see the template itself there i tried to take the start y-value.I used atan2 and also just a simple number. I tried with just 2 and 1 and i get a solution, but not if i use the attribute with "{geom:get-start-y()}".Hope i get some help.

So this is a problem that keeps coming up...we need to report text differences between two versions of reports. I can access the before and after fields and read them into FME, but I am searching for ways to analyze the strings and report the differences (additions and deletions).The ultimate goal is to format a report with additions (green) and deletions (red) clearly marked. As a start though, I have to find some method to analyze the two strings and perhaps break things down enough to be able to re-assemble a properly formatted string, perhaps with HTML. Nothing is jumping out right now as a simple answer, so I suspect it is not as easy :)I have looked into the custom workspaces "FuzzyStringComparer" and "FuzzyStringCompareFrom2Datasets", but I don't think they will help me much with the above. I thought about a process of chopping a string into individual words and do some repetitive looping using Regular Expressions to determine which chunks existed before

Hallo guys!I have a good question about the if statement (pls look on the pictures). I wanna check if the line is the first one (with Count) then i set my s1=0, after that i want that the next s-value is s2=lenght(first line) and on the next line i need s3= length(first line)+lenght(second line). Its just a straight road so i just have straight lines. I have now the question how can i get the lenght from the last object to fill up the s-value from the next one? My next question is if i try the "if Statement" it include the word "xmlns" into the file and i have no idea why. I hope anyone have a answer for me. Thanks !

FME Server 2016 and earlier have a setting for SECURITY_SUPERUSER_ROLE. The superuser has some permissions that you cannot give to other users, such as doing a backup / restore. Does FME Server 2017 have this concept? I don't see SECURITY_SUPERUSER_ROLE in the config files.It looks like the admin user is the default superuser, is that correct? If so, is it possible to grant other users the superuser powers? I would like to assign the superuser to an Active Directory group but can't figure out how to do that, even when logged in as the admin superuser.

Is there a way to create a transposed table in the MSWordStyler? I'd like to have attribute names in column 1 vs. attribute values in column 2 like this:So far I only managed to create a table like this:The horizontal presentation isn't really useful for Word documents, especially when listing lots of attribute values.I've tried creating several individual tables that I concatenate when writing but there will always be a line break between them. I've also had a look at the msword_table_col_header{0} and msword_table_col_value{0} format attributes but it looks like they don't allow for more than one row either.Is there a solution?

I have a problem with FME Server 2018 with version 2018.1 - Build 18520 - win32I installed fme server on windows 10 32-bit and I got the license but engines are not available.I have tried many times to remove fme server and re-installing again but the same problem.When I opened web interface I got those error messages as attached.

Looking for tips to improve performance when selecting rows from a database based on an incoming set of features.  For example, say I have 150 points going into an initiator port on a FeatureReader that then reads 4 tables/features from an Oracle SDE database.  Scenario 1: Spatial Filter is set to "Initiator Intersects Result" While this does greatly improve performance over reading everything from all 4 tables/features, What else can I do to improve performance here? Is there a way to send all of the features at once? OR generate a set of search envelopes to send to the featureReader?  (I tried creating a BoundingBoxAccumulator, but if the points are not close together, this will select too many of the 4 features)  Here is an example of the kind of output in the log file for each of the 150 points that are sent to the FeatureReader (note, I've change the lat/long): Notice - Performing envelope query on the `GEODATABASE_SDE' reader, post-filtering spatial predicate in

Hello. Looking for some suggestions on how to fix geometries. These unnecessary vertices are the result of import from MicroStation cadastral based DGN files. The unwanted vertices are on a cadastral grid line.First case, lines with extra vertex that should be removed:Second case:2 line segments that should be merged, assuming they are colinear. Would need a test for that, right? In the screenshot below, the short segment south of the green highlighted segment should be merged with the green highlighted segment and defined by 2 points (again, assuming they are colinear).Third case: polygons with extra vertices like in the line segments. Pt 4 (and others at cadastral grid lines) should be remove (assuming colinear segments):There are ~25000 lines affected and and similar number of various polygon features.Thank you for any direction!!

Hello,For a distributed installation of FME Server, what are the database requirements? I imagine it will vary a bit based on number of jobs, engines, and such, but is there a rough guideline for the volume of data the server will need to store?
