I tried generalizer and spike removal. The spike removal works to remove the twisted lines, but it leaves small cuts everywhere. Any advice how to clean the small cut lines and reduce the number of vertices? Thank you so much!

I have a Group in my company ArcGIS Online (AGOL) that holds multiple, shared, hosted feature layers, each based on a feature service and having multiple layers both spatial and non-spatial.  As such, each hosted feature layer is a Feature Layer Collection in Esri-speak.  Many of the non-spatial layers in a hosted feature layer are attachment tables, so others are relationship tables.  I need to read the schemas (as schema features) of every layer in every hosted feature layer into one big stream.  Alternatively, I could read all the features and shove them through a SchemaScanner.  In either case, I need FME entities, and I need to be able to loop through all the hosted feature layers.  Because FME FeatureReaders for AGOL Feature Services can process only one feature service at a time, I can't process all the hosted feature layers in the same workspace run.  I can think of a way to use multiple worksapces and WorkspaceRunner s to do the required looping, but that is kludgy and complex

After upgrading to FME desktop 2022.2.3.0 (20230131 - Build 22789 - WIN64) I cannot read any of the sde tables on postgres (10) backend. The FME desktop 2021.2.3.0 (20220131 - Build 21812 - WIN64) version still works. I've played with the Esri Argis compatibility workspace parameter without any succes. I noticed that when I went to add the Geocoder transformer to a workbench there no longer was a transformer called Geocoder. I am using it to connect to an ArcGIS Server Rest geocoding service. I saw a Geocoder ArcGIS Online transformer and other system specific Geocoder but not the original "Geocoder" transformer.

Mdenoise is an denoising algorithm for topographic use that preserves sharp edges. It's part of GDAL, so I was wondering if it maybe was integrated in FME, but under another name? How to extract photo attachments from an fgdb esri file?

I'm parsing data from an SFTP call to get the file name. I'm returning _list values that have all the FTP properties of each file. I use an AttributeCreator get the length of this string as an attribute (ListStringLength=69) --- @StringLength(@Value(_list))-rwxrwxrwx  1 user   278361 date 00137 0001539147T ABCDEFG1234567.jpg I'm also using the AttributeCreator to get the starting position of the file name based on the prefix as another attribute (StartingPosition=33) --- @FindString(@Value(_list),"00137 0001539147T")278361 Mar 21 09:49 00137 0001539147T ABCDEFG1234567.jpg From here, I tried to simply subtract. Hello, I have a dataset in excel that I would like to simplify the data into a newly created status field. For example all records that are 1000 will be status A, all records that are 2000 will be status B, all records that are 3000 will be status C. I will then import the data into GIS to symbolize based on status. I am creating testers for each status type and then joining it all back together. I was wondering if there was a single transformer that I could put in all my criteria and have the status field updated. I think this should be fairly simple but not finding the right transformer. We used to have the following 'Emailer' Transformer in our FME Desktop /Server 2021.2.2 and it worked fine: However after upgraded to 2022.2.3, we experienced the following Python Exception error for Emailer:Any idea how to fix that? Thanks.

Hello, I have a table which needs to be written to PostGIS. One of my dataset columns contains a list of buffer distances for example 300, 200, 100m. It would be ideal to write this as an array to PostGIS for example {300, 200, 100}.  If the table already exists with an array column in PostGIS, FME will update the array correctly. If the table doesn't exist I can't see how to set the column type as an array in FME. Is it possible? Thanks :)

Hello everyone,I am trying to convert dgn (Microstation) to dwg (Autocad), but for some reason the blocks are in my dwg unrotated. In Microstation those are called cells. Does anyone know how I can get the cells rotated in the dwg file? The igds_rotation attribute does show the rotation values in case of Microstation (see below for some example values)and I read somewhere online that the attribute name that holds the rotation value in case of autocad was 50. I could be wrong though. In the output (dwg) the cells are unrotated. It might thus be due to the fact that I stored the rotation value for autocad under the wrong name. 

In Salesforce, they have a feature called "Platform Events" where the fields are defined in Salesforce. Does FME have an existing connector or an app for this and can FME also publish changes to the "Platform Events"?Thank you

I used several models. once without transformers and once with EsriReprojector, reprojector, and ...In all cases, the results are not in correct projection.even I force to create prj file and it has the correct projection but output dwg has UTM projection with wrong coordinates

Is FME version 2021 able to work with ESRI Geodatabases in ArcGIS 9.0 and 9.3 formats?

Hello I am trying to write some polygon data from a csv file which contains the geometry data to an esri sde database, all the conversion is fine until i come to write the data when i get the error below. It says that the Number of parts in shape is incorrect for its geometry type. What does this actually mean. The data is building a polygon, which it does. I have added in a geometry filter to get the areas and polygons followed by a geometry coercer set to fme_polygon... Any ideas how to fix this or what could be wrong?? Error while updating feature in the table/feature class 'OS_NGD_BLD_FTS_BUILDINGPART'. The error number from ArcObjects is: '-2147215922'. I have a disconnected Python Caller which is suppose to do some data cleaning in target dataset before Reading data from source and writing them into Target Can you please let me know how I can make a sequence here before reading the data from source to ran and do the job of Python Caller First?   I tried to connect/put the Python caller before Reader but as you know where is no way to add it before reader , out of the box Thanks

Looking for a way to add a feature to a data flow based on a test condition where the feature count of the data stream is 1 or more? If there are no features being read from the reader source, no feature will be added. Best way is probably to test feature count equal to null.

Is this possible to automate in FME?  Is it also possible to run a script at an interval in fme, e.g. once per week?

I was excited about this new feature announced at FME UC 2022 and as soon as I saw the beta for 2023 dropped (and I also really want to test this on Server Apps), I downloaded to test. However it seems broken. The drop-down isn't revealing anything. Shouldn't it reveal one of the other parameters as input? Or am I missing something? Thanks.

I have a workbench intended to run daily on FME Server. It does the usual data transformation stuff and then it email reports to a member of staff once per week. The report contains information relating to contractor performance over a 30 day period. I only want to send out a report if there's in new activity in the past 30 days. Currently, I have 9 x reports (one for each contractor). The reports are updated daily. I want the Emailer transformer to email only those reports containing new activity. I have gotten as far as calculating which reports are valid (i.e. within 30days) and using an Attribute Creator to fanout a new attribute, being the path & filename of the report. The Emailer then reads the fanout parameter as the Source File, picks it up and sends it. The problem is, the Emailer is sending each attachment in individual emails. I want the transformer to recognise which reports are valid and then send them together in a single email. The image I have attached shows 5

I'm having some issues with our FME Server which I don't understand. Every now and then, when running a nightly scheduled job, a FeatureReader fails to read a CSV file. The log returns:Trying to find a DYNAMIC plugin for reader named `CSV2'Library 'D:\Program Files\FMEServer\Server\fme\plugins/CSV2.dll' was found but could not be loaded. Ensure that all the dependent modules exist for this libraryModule 'CSV2' is unavailable for use with this FME editionWhen I resubmit the job, everything works fine... which is great for the data being processed, but harder to debug. The issue feels somewhat familiar and I did find similar questions but not related to CSV2.dll.I'm quite sure this is not related to desktop/server versions. Version is 2019.1.2.As far as I am aware nothing has changed in the installation, I do know the certificates were replaced recently but I doubt this has anything to do with it. Not sure where I should start looking, can anyone point me in the right direction? Update: 

 I get a very vague error when running it: " Error running translation." and no other details. I have over 60 GB of space on the drive so it can't be a matter of space. Also 16 GB RAM and closed all other applications.

We would like to inventory our FME Server on all input and output data from our database. We have setup a workspace that calls the FME REST API and reads all input/output, but there is no way to read other transformers as it seems. Is there a way to read FeatureReaders/Writers from all the workspaces in FME Server somehow? Also we would like to get a list of pythoncallers and systemcallers etc.
