HiI tried to join two linear datatset using this approachI created (snipper) center point from one lines dataset and then I used the spatial relator to join the info to the 2 lines dataset but due to the mismatch of the coordsys of two datasets(I suppose) the center point doesn't touch the line (see picture)I suppose that this is related to the tolerance during reprojection do you have same experience ? thx PS I solved creating a buffer for the center points Francesco

To populate in an automated way the json templater what I would to do is to add the string stored in 2 attributes that I created in the table of my source.The first one is to create the list of attribute name and the second one to run the command in Json templater to add the value of the same attributes present in the source. Hi All,I'm trying to create and write dynamic attribute name with the joined workspace. In a FFS file, I have C-SEGMT entities. I would like to count how any entities I have until the current year (e.g. 2023) but also for the two previous years (e.g. 2022 and 2021) and put the result in a dynamic attribute name (for my example, three attributes named "NumEntities__2023", "NumEntities__2022" and "NumEntities__2021" I can create them, as you can see it in my Workbench and the screen capture, but I don't know how to write them in my Writer. It's OK for a FFS Writer, but if I want to write in a GEOJson file or other formats, it fails. I could name them directly "NumEntities__2023", "NumEntities__2022", "NumEntities__2021" ; or I could expose them with AttributeExposer : I can see their name if I have enabled feature caching. But my goal is, if I run the workbench next year, the attributes will be automatically renamed

I need to read multiple geodatabases from url, where some geodatabases are at the root folder, and some in subfolders.I tried to follow the article here, but already the initial schema reader fails. I set the source to https://arealdata-api.miljoeportal.dk/download/**/*.gdb. The error message I get is: Unable to connect to the File Geodatabase at 'HTTPS:\\arealdata-api.miljoeportal.dk\\download\\**'. Make sure the correct filename was specified, and that the Geodatabase wasn't saved with a newer version of ArcGIS than the one installed locally. The error number from ArcObjects is: '-1'. The error message from ArcObjects is: {} 

Hi All I have a URL in the format http://blah.com/images/{index] where the maximum index value will be the total number of records minus 1. So for three images the indexes would be 0, 1, 2 What is the best way to take the attribute imagecount and loop to the URL for the correct number of times starting at zero??? Just getting a bit confused now....Regards

Hello! Hopefully someone can answer this! For a bit of context, this pertains to FME Server version 2020.2.2. I am working on developing a script that will be triggered in an outside application and will use HTTP requests to send information to FME Server for processing.  I have a webhook set up for this and have verified that it runs successfully and the script is able to submit what it needs via an HTTP GET request. The thing is I also want to be able to automatically extend the token's expiry date through the same script. From what I understand, a PUT request would do the job...but I'm having issues figuring out how this part of the script would be authorized. My first question is: does a PUT request require some sort of special API access? Any attempts at testing are being met with an "insufficient privileges" error message even though I'm the user/owner who generated the webhook. My second question, which sort of ties into the first: since this is going to be

I have a stream of features containing polygons and multipolygons.I would like to identify only the polygons and promote them to multipolygons (containing one polygon). I tried GeometryAggregator but it is converting multipolygons into geometryCollection(multipolygon) which I don't want.Must be something simple that I just can't see. Any help appreciated.Simon

Hi all.I'm using a dynamic writer to output a series of features as tables in an SQL Server database, adding a fixed schema name in the "Table Qualifier" parameter.However, FME completely ignores this setting, and outputs all features to the default "dbo" schema.I've then tried to add it to the "Table Name" parameter (with "fme_feature_type_name" in "Schema Definition Name"), but then it just errs because the data features "fme_feature_type" now contains my added schema.Is this really WAD ?Why doesn't the dynamic writer accept and use the setting in "Table Qualifier" ??

Is it possible to extract the following information about a workbench being run through an automation (all automations will be triggered by schedule): Workbench NameAll READER dataset namesscheduled run time & periodAll WRITER dataset type, and output filename/location I am interested in writing a workbench which will use an HTTPCaller to read all automations tagged with a specific tag, and then take each of those automations and extract those specific attributes above into a csv. 

Is it possible to read all layer names from a DWG source file? By all I also mean the layers which do not have any features on them. For example, if I have a DWG file with the following layers and numbers of features on them:L_01 (with 10 features)L_02 (without any feature)L_03 (with 1 feature)L_04 (without any feature)I want to somehow get access to all the layer names, i.e. L_01, L_02, L_03, and L_04 in FME, even though L_02 and L_04 do not have any features. Alternatively, is there a way to convert a DWG file to a DXF file such that all layers are preserved (i.e. , again, also those that do not have any features on them)?

I have a template dwg with a property set attached to lines and polylines. When I write a dwg and use that template is it then possible to fille the property set from FME?

When running FME Desktop and set the Scripting to Esri Python 3.6+ or other Esri Python version and adding an PythonCaller or PythonCreator the workbench fails and gives an error. This bug seems to be related with Windows removing all Icons form the Start Menu. Reinstalling ArcGIS Pro seems to fix the problem.    

I'm encountering an issue reading NetCDF files I got from here:https://dap.ceda.ac.uk/badc/cmip6/data/CMIP6/CMIP/AS-RCEC/TaiESM1/historical/r1i1p1f1/day/pr/gn/latest/ When attempting to use a ListSearcher to search the "netcdf_coordinate_variable" list for an element with axis = T, I get no matches, even though its the first element.I also get no results using a ListExploder and a Tester to test the axis attribute.In fact the only attribute from the list that will match is "name". Looking at the list there are 2 elements, and the second element only has a "name" attribute and no others.I could see why this might trip up the ListSearcher, but I don't understand why the ListExploder + Tester method also fails to match? This is with FME 2022.1.2 on MacOS. I've attached a workspace (data linked above) and a screen shot showing the list has an element with an axis value of "T".
