Writing to dwg surface

What are the settings (writer and additional attributes) to write to a dwg-surface? So for example to convert a pointcloud to a surface (dwg)Now when I would like to write it to dwg it becomes a mesh (object ;-) ). Thanks!

gaps after resampling dsm tiles

Hi We have dsm tiles with gcp 3.5 cm, I want to resample them to 25 cm. This is my workbench: The result has gaps of 25 cm, like this: How can I prevent that? Thx

I am designing a workflow using workspace runner. My initial design is to have 5 (variable) path location parameters for input and 5 for output. set in the first workspace with a count for any new paths added. those parameters dynamically shared to the second workspace which then does a change detection and creates an updated file list in it's respective output location. Then a 3rd workspace which waits until the first 2 workspaces have run the number of count (path varaible) then uses the file list generated by each run to extract dwg layers to a single fgdb.Can anyone elaborate on the plan to wait for running the 3rd wksp until all lists have completed? or other ideas to make this work? Placing the FeatureHolder after the WorkspaceRunner will my xls writer correctly create?

writing files with ssh

I want to write files with scheduled workspace on fme server to a Linux server using SSH. I think i have to use python. Does somebody have experience.

Extruding lines to faces, the points of each face point in a different order

Hi, I use Extruder to extrude several lines to surface (Parameters: Direction: Vertical). But after extruding, the vertices of each surface point to different orders, some of which are clockwise (the bottom figure) and some of which are counterclockwise (the above figure). If I want to unify the directions of vertices as counterclockwise, how to set?Can anyone help me?

There is no geometry in this view?

I can preview data with Inspector in workbench. After I wrote the data out as a GML file based on XSD schema, I looked at the GML file in the FME Data Inspector. But it appears that there is no Geometry in this View. What is the reason? Is there an error with setting parameters for writing GML files?Can anyone help me?

How to find out which subscription is connected to fme server's topic ?

Is there any way ?, that I can find out the subscription connected to topic. from subscription , i can see the topic name. but not other way. in my case , there are many subscriptions and topics. So from fme workbench i get topic name, but from the topic name , i cannot extract / know the subscription name

Coordinate system is "IFC_COORDSYS_0" after Coordinate transformation?

Hi,I'm trying to transform IFC data into CityGML data. I use AttributeReprojector to reproject coordinates, and use 3DAffiner to perform a 3D affine transformation on the coordinates. After that, when I use CoordinateSystemExtractor to look at the coordinate system, found that the coordinate system is "IFC_COORDSYS_0", not the one I set, EPSG:31467. Why?A Warning "Coordinate system named IFC_COORDSYS_0 does not exist." appears in the log during running CoordinateSystemExtractor.

Assign Z value for rooflines

Hi, We have as input a shapefile containing roof polygons.We would like to modify certain lines of these polygons such as the gutter and ridge lines.We would like to modify the value of lines which are almost horizontal to make them horizontal ! At the end we should have Z1=Z2, Z3=Z4 and Z5=Z6. Our script is joined. We tried to extract the vertices of the polygons, modify them and then rebuild the roof. It works for simple buildings with 1 roof section but not for more complex buildings with 4 roof sections, for example.Is there anyone who have a solution ? maybe without extraction of the vertex ? Failed to write to Azure SQL table

Hi. I'm trying to write some data into a table which consists of two foreign keys. As you can see on the attached image, I'm reading from two tables, Equipment and WaterMeterPnt. Equipment contains a field BuildingId which I'm going to add to the table WaterMeterPntBuilding. I'm joining the two tables on an common field. The table WaterMeterPntBuilding contains just two fields which is foreign keys. When I try to run this, I get this error when writing:Microsoft SQL Server Non-Spatial Writer: Failed to create Azure table 'dbo.WaterMeterPntBuilding' because no clustered index or primary key was specified.I'm sure that the values exists in the tables and I'm using the existing table, not creating the table each time. Revit to IFC Quick Translator Issue

Hello fellas,I've been trying out the new Revit reader and convert it to IFC similar to what Autodesk Revit could do. Nonetheless, the FME Quick Translator could not handle the translation. Is there a quick and "plug and play" workbench for this matter? I have tried setting up the workbench but creating multiple IFC sub-classes (e.g. IfcWall, IfcBuildingStorey, etc) but the result is not ideal. The converted data stored in a table instead of 2D/3D?I m looking for a solution to export IFC and CityGML from Revit in one workbench/ one source. Appreciate it.

FME Server Could Not Connect to Core

Our installation of FME Server has just stopped working. Raster Replacer to PDF

Hello!I have been pulling photos down from ArcGIS Online and have used the RasterReplacer to JPEG writer workflow to do this. I now need to pdf the images.Can I do this straight from the raster replacer or is it better to start a whole new workflow converting JPEG to PDF. Thanks

3d mesh from Geotiff heightmap

FME-Data-Download always internal domain in href

Hi,if I use the Data Download Service in FME-Server 2019.1.3.1 and I always get the link with the internal domain (https://internal_domain:443/fmedatadownload/results ), but I want to use the external domain (https://external_domain/fmedatadownload/results), like configured under System Configuration --> Networking --> Services.I don't have configured a proxy or reverse proxy. AIXM - srsdimension tag causes problem with validation

Hello everybody,I exported AIXM datafile from FME and I tried to validate it here: https://swim.m-click.aero/validator/ with profile "AIXM, GML Aviation Profile, no Business Rules". Validation result told me that tag "srsdimension" is not correct for AIXM (exact form is "attribute 'srsDimension' is not declared for element 'ElevatedPoint'"). AIXM writer automatically puts SRSDimension tag to exported datafile. So I wanna ask, where is problem - in validator or FME has wrong schema definition for AIXM?I attached sample of my export.Thank You!Lubo

Dynamic schema writing

I have an excel with the definition of the Schema Fme-feature type ( table to create) name ( the attribute to creat )this is only sample data, I used the featured reader to read the empty schema use the list explorer to get the data attached in the excel, how could we create the same schema into the DB Note ( the source has no features )
