Best practice for streamlining data flow to/from AGOL

I am currently working with about 60 towns (folders) on AGOL which all contain 10+ feature layers. The data is read from all these layer (reader per layer), compared with data in my db, then the data is updated/inserted/deleted in our db. After this, let's say some work is done on the db data . I then have another workspace which is writing the updates back up to AGOL for the same town. I currently have 2 workspaces per town which take care of all the reading/writing/processing for all the layers. This has resulted in 120 workbenches which, when an update has to be made to the way data is processed, I have to go back and update all of those workspaces. Also more towns are being added every week so the number of workbenches is increasing. The screenshot below is taken from one layer where data is read from both AGOL and the db, compared and then written out. I have several raster of about 13 kms x 13 kms square, high resolution and would like to know if there is a way to extract all the impervious areas from it

I would like to extract things like concrete driveways, road surfaces, any other hard surfaces, to calculate areas. The Rasters I have, are taken several years apart and would like to calculate the change in surface areas.

Data filtering

Hello. You don't know which transformer to use. I tried testfilter, but there you can't combine two lines and featuremerger, it's also not quite ideal. Error with HTTP Caller when running Workspace from Command Line (Jenkins)

I have a pretty basic workbench with a HTTP Caller which processes the downloaded data to insert. When I open the Workbench it works perfectly. I preset all the input parameters so I do not need to pass them into the model. However when I try and run the workspace from command line, specifically in Jenkins, I use the following command:"C:\\Program Files\\FME\\fme.exe" "\\\\xxx\\xxxx\\MY_MODEL.fmw" I get the following error: HTTPCaller_4_<Rejected>: Termination Message: 'HTTPCaller_4 output a <Rejected> feature. To continue translation when features are rejected, change 'Workspace Parameters' > Translation > 'Rejected Feature Handling' to 'Continue Translation''Program Terminating Any idea what would cause the http caller to fail only when run from command line? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a theoretical question related to the evaluation of the results I have obtained. I had coordinate of point (x,y). Now I want to check if I chose 10 sample of these data , these ten points sample is enough to measure the errors?

I got the mean and standard deviation of all dataset ( mean: 0.12, sd: 2.84). And also, I got mean and standard deviation of ten sample (mean: 0.10, sd: 0.10)

How to calculate hourly 7-day preceding rainfall?

Hi,I have hourly rainfall data (observed and forecast) and i'd like to calculate a 7 day preceding rainfall total for EACH HOUR. My first thought is to use AttributeManager and adjacent features to sum the preceding 166 features (hourly rainfall totals), but it only allows up to 100 adjacent features. Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thanks.

Removing identical polygons on top each other based on spatial

Hi, Doing an overlaps removal on polygons but I have multiple polygons that are identical shapes layered on top of each other. does anyone have any solutions for this as I cant seem to find a way to select and remove all but one of the stack, over the whole layer. unfortunately the polygons don't have any data to match them on so its all spatial. 3-tier installation network port

Hi eveyrone,I'm trying to setup a 3-tier installation and I can't find the required network ports used by each component. I have a communication error between the engines and the core. Error communicating with FME Server host xxxxx-fme-engine. Contact your FME Server administrator who can investigate the log files for further details. Surface Model could not find 3 non NAN seed points I am trying to convert a .Tiff DEM to Minecraft format. Once it reaches the Surface Draper transformers the translation fails and I get the above error message.

Change time by 1 second

Hello. Does anyone know how to use a transformer to change the time? I originally solved it by parsing the data via a string searcher, creating attributes and then compiling. This solution worked. It does not work for this date 20221201000000 (year, month, day, time 2022/12/01/000000 ), where I set the desired -1 second. I get 20221200999999 (2022/12/00/999999) in the output, but it should be 20221130235959 (2022/11/30/235959 ). I need a transformer that doesn't stupidly subtract -1 unit, but works with data like time. Thank you

Identify exact attribute changes when comparing two sets of data

Hi everyone, I am using FME 2013 for comparing geometry and attribute changes between two Shape files, one being more recent than the other. The two Shape files have exactly the same type of geometry and schema (same attributes names and definitions). They also have a lot of attributes (more than 50 I think). I have set up a logic for reporting significant differences in geometry as well as records having at least one attribute value not matching with the corresponding one in the other set. The attribute matching part can be achieved rather easily with a ChangeDetector, Matcher or CRCCalculator. These transformers will report features containing at least one attribute change among those that have been selected in the transformer properties. Given the great number of attributes I would like to to identify which specific attribute(s) has(have) indeed been modified between the two sets. I don't see an option using the standard transformers mentioned above. I did manage to get somethi

Unzipping multiple zipped folders and adding a field with the folder name to the output

I have extracted files to an output folder like this. I want to extract the files inside the zipped folders and tag the folder name to the output file. How do I do this as a bulk process. The unzip transformers only seem to do one at a time but I am sure there is a better way.

Translation problem from GDB to DBase

Different output topojson files for same feature reading from different feature classes in the same SDE.

I have a workbench that transforms feature classes within the same sde to topojson files for each feature class. Currently I have the same feature in two feature classes that I am writing to topojson. However, the output topojson files are different for this feature. The topojson files are used in Power BI custom maps. One file does exactly what it should while the other doesn't. The issue is with that particular feature that is located in both readers and writers. I checked the number of vertices for this feature in both feature classes and they are the same (3045 - it is a large coastal feature). The output topojson contains different vertices count than the feature classes that is likely expected. But both output topojson files have different vertices count for the same feature: 3431 (topojson file that is not performing as it should within Power BI) and 3421 (topojson file that performs as it should in Power BI). Can Azure Blob Storage be used for the FME Server System Share (i.e. in a fault tolerant configuration)?

I have previously successfully configured FME Server with an Azure File Share as the System Share using a UNC path, but have not tried it with blob storage. Is this supported? If, so how do I configure it?
