I have a theoretical question related to the evaluation of the results I have obtained. I had coordinate of point (x,y). Now I want to check if I chose 10 sample of these data , these ten points sample is enough to measure the errors?

 I got the mean and standard deviation of all dataset ( mean: 0.12, sd: 2.84). 

And also, I got mean and standard deviation of ten sample (mean: 0.10, sd: 0.10)
