I have address data in CSV format. there are address number ranges, street address from number and street address to number, and sequence code (1 for odd, 2 for even, and 3 for consecutive).I need to expand these ranges into individual addresses based on sequence code and write them in a new CSV.Any guidance for doing this task in FME would be appreciated. Hello,FME Desktop 2022.2.5, using OpenSSL 3.0.8.0, is being flagged by Defender as having three weaknesses: CVE-2023-0464, CVE-2023-0465 and CVE-2023-0466. I can't find anything here about these three: Is there anything known about them? CVE-2023-0465 and CVE-2023-0466 are being re-analyzed, so I appreciate that we need to wait for the outcome of that analysis, but CVE-2023-0464 could potentially be quite harmful.  Thanks,Stefan

I know in the Esri ArcGIS Portal Feature Service writer there are parameters to control writing out with branch versioning.Is there similar functionality for traditional versioning?If yes, is there a way to have traditional versioning and preserve Global IDs using the Esri ArcGIS Portal Feature Service writer?

Hi  I have a workbench that I use for making ortho photo’s. I’m using this same workbench for over 4years now and since last week I’m getting always the same error. It’s says: jpeg2000 writer: Could not perform compression. I don’t know how to solve this, as it has worked always before… I installed the lastest FME form yesterday. I get the same error.   I don’t know for sure, but one time I looked at the edit header option under tools to solve something, but I don’t think I changed anything. Could that result in this error? 

Hi, few days ago I open a post :Best answers it was ok when I try with just one watercourse, but with 2 or more it’s not working. I tryed many days but without success, I don’t know how to set the accumulative lenght custom transformer to work with many watercourses. All segments that are part of a watercourse share an identifier (gwlnr) In attached there is a gpkg and .fmw. with the project in FME thanks in advance  Custom transformer accumulative lenght 

Hi,I have a layer of hydrographic network lines. A watercourse is composed of one or more segments, which share an ID. I have two attributes, abscissa_start and abcissa_end, which correspond to the length of the segment in a sequence. For example, in the attached image, I have a watercourse, where the first segment measures 50m, so start_abscissa is 0, and end_abscissa is 50, the second segment measures 80m, so start_abscissa must be 50, and end_abscissa must be 130, and so on. I need to find a way to be able to calculate the two fields abcissa_start and abcissa_end in FME automatically.The segments are always digitised from the origin to the mouth, and the calculation must be done taking into account as the first segment the one at the mouth. They already have a lenght field. Thanks,   

Hello, I want to cut a layer (buffer zone) according to another layer (urban zones), so I set up the transformers clipper but the cutting does not take place and the entities that emerge are the same as at the input (cf. attachment) :Before Clipper :After Clipper : Would you have an idea to make this cutting work so that my buffer zone does not exceed (that it must therefore be cut) according to the urban areas present in the second layer? Thanks!

Hi All, First of all, tanks for reading my post. FME Desktop 2022.2Objective: Using the Feature Reader I’m trying to dynamically have a user input an existing sde table name (so the user is prompted to insert the table name that already exists), then I have a reprojector followed by the FeatureWriter to Drop and Create the table in a new projection. The table to be dropped an create will be the same one inserted by the user. Hence, this table already exists. Error: ‘Feature Type Definition {feature here} was requested, but not defined’. I checked another similar post, but I still can’t get my workbench to work.  I have a Feature Reader set as follows: When I run the workbench, the FeatureReader does not show the table name that was inserted by the user, but instead, it catches the table records under ‘Generic’ see screenshot below.  (If I were to access that table statically (connecting to the table via the SDE connection), then the table name will display along with it’s schema defini

I have a feature class with cycling and walking routes (with ID and Name) and a feature class with the starting points of the (circular) routes. I want to write all the routes in the feature class to separate gpx-files. Each gpx-file should have the name of the route in its filename.I tried with the ‘fanout’ option in the writer, but the resulting files are no gpx-files and are very small (1kB), so without content I guess. Any advise? 

Hi,This is a question that is really related to another piece of software (lastools) but it is using a product of FME.Basically in lastools you can colour a point cloud by an aerial image (the same as PointCloudOnRasterComponentSetter). I want to set up a script to do it in lastools because that is faster for this task.Anyway, lastools only accepts one raster (tif) as an input. I have multiple overlapping rasters. The overlapping parts are identical. What I want to do is merge these rasters and chop to the extents of each input point cloud.That is all easy but I’m having a little trouble getting it to work. It seems that lastools doesn’t like the RasterMosaicker transformer. The input (pre merged) rasters work fine, and even the clipped rasters (clipped but not merged). Which I’m taking to mean my writer properties are correct. I can’t see any difference in properties between ones that work and a mosaicked raster. I have an XML file generated by a specific SW, and there is an issue with one element, which content I cannot influence as I would like to. The images are successfully uploaded, but the server assigns the incorrect mime type. This causes the images to download, and not display in browser. I have tried setting the 'content_type' manually to 'image/jpeg' - but the server seems to assign the mime type to 'application/octet-stream' every time.  my config is below. am I using the wrong syntax/config? thanks.... Multipart upload is as follows:

I have 3 System caller as each for DEV, HUB, and PROD environments. and I want to control which to run with User Parameters as belowCan you please let me know how I can control which SystemCaller to run based on user selection (For example: if user select the DEV then only the SystemCaller-DEV)

Hi, is it possible to upload a file to the FME Flow shared resource folder through the Flow REST API? I tried to setup a POST request for https://fme.oebb.at/fmerest/v3/resources/connections/<resource>/filesys/<path> but get a 415 Unsupported Media Type Response. I used the following parameters in Postman:In this example I want to upload the text file “test.txt” to the shared resource folder “Test”. Is there a problem with the request, or is this the wrong approach for uploading a file via the REST API? The goal would be to provide a means for external applications to upload files that are then processed by FME Flow. Thank you for your help!

Hi list.I'm tasked with importing a lot of feature sets, each with its own set of fields/attributes. So I'm using dynamic output mode, utilizing the schema features read.Unfortunately the request is to add a "job ID", so I tried to append an entry to the attribute list of the schema features, but suddenly the proces fails, not recognizing the schema features anymore. And this without changing anything in the data features flow nor the writer.An example of the error message is:Microsoft SQL Server Spatial Writer: A feature has arrived with 'fme_feature_type' of DAF_DAGI.afstemningsomraade_908308, but the feature type is not recognized. Halting translationMy writer setup is shown in the attached image. Why does the writer suddenly confuse the fme_feature_type with the requested table name ?Or is the error message false/misleading ?The "fme_feature_type" of the data features are the exact same, I just manipulated the schema features in a parallel "stream".Any insights are appreciated.Chee

A small follow-up question, the prompt button on the toolbar has vanished for me since FME 2024.0. It also disappeared from the Toolbar options. Same goes for the Stop at breakpoint button.Any ideas how to get it back?

I have an ETL workbench and would like to create a text file where I can write some information while running the workbench. The information I would like to write includes:The path to individual readers The feature counts of each reader The coordinate system of the each reader How many objects have been written to the databaseI don't want to use logging per se because it writes basically all information.What alternatives do I have? Hello, I am a first-time poster on the FME forum. My goal is to read data stored in a plain view from a non-spatial Oracle database and then write it to an Oracle SDE geo_dbtable. The issue is that my Oracle Non-Spatial Reader slows down, taking more than 30 minutes to execute the SQL Statement when I include two comment fields that are long, 2000 characters. When I run the same query in SQL Developer, the result is back in a few seconds.   The log message that gets stuck on is:  ORACLE Reader: Executing SQL Statement `SELECT…<field names> to obtain features for feature type <Oracle View Name>If I uncheck the comment fields in the User Attributes tab the reader returns quickly, within a minute.  So I’m skeptical that it is caused by network distance.  Given these challenges, I need some guidance. I’ve tried using an Oracle NCLOB to hold the comments in the view, but the result remains sluggish. I'm eager to learn how to optimize my workbench's performance when dealing with

Hi all.Our FME Servers using version 2022.2.x have been running fine for over a year now, but suddenly (in the last month or so) the existing server apps have begun to fail, stating missing token permission to server and database connections as the cause.What’s causing this sudden change in behaviour ?The server apps have been running without problems until this started.Cheers. EDIT: It worked June 27 but failed June 28.
