I have been given a .JSON file to try and convert into an output Esri File Geodatabase format. I have managed to flatten the nested JSON values into attributes, and can view these ok. However, I am having a real issue trying to get my workbench to read the coordinate values that make up the polygon geometry objects. If someone could assist that would be much appreciated. I have attached a file, but stripped it back just to include the line containing the coordinate information for one polygon. Thanks, R 

This is what I was going to post in FME Communities. Please change anything that doesn't make sense as I may have used terminology wrong:We are currently deploying FME Flow 2024.1.1 and will need to run FME Server 2022.2 in parallel for the next few months while we migrate workspaces/solutions over to Flow. With that in mind, we were curious about changing the URL of FME Flow from https://DOMAIN/fmeserver to https://DOMAIN/fmeflow by changing the fmeserver.war file name to fmeflow.war and redeploying Tomcat. Note: We’re using our own version of Tomcat and have a distributed deployment setup. We were able to get the new ‘fmeflow’ URL to work with this new .war file and subsequent folders. Our question is: Are there hard-coded elements that we would need to look out for and change to ensure all functions/elements work in FME Flow? 

Hey. Hey. I have a problem with GeoJson. GeoJson automatically writes the geometry and I would need to write an extra "layer" block to this geometry block, see attachment layer. I tried to create a template on json templater see fmwt, but it doesn't work. The idea of this template was that I would define the structure as json including the "layer" block and then write it as text with all parameters as geoJson, but I don't know if this is a good way to go. Would you recommend me any other options? I also have the schemas available, but I'm not sure on which transformer and in what combination with other transformers to use them to achieve the result. Thank you very much

In this case the user is FME. How does it select which cert to pass to the server? 

I have a need to access some advanced graph algorithms in the RAPIDS (rapids.ai) package from a PythonCaller, which is normally installed as a Conda environment.  I have found a few references on selecting the Conda-environment-specific Python interpreter, but unfortunately, they all assume we are running under Windows.  We are running Ubuntu Linux, and the Linux installation of FME Form (as well as the macOS installation) doesn’t support custom interpreters.Any ideas on how I can get around this?  I’ve previously managed to install pip packages into the standard FME interpreter environment with no issues, but it’s very difficult to successfully install RAPIDS using pip due to its many binary dependencies.

I have created a series of workbenches that populate an ESRI File Geodatabase. Each workbench corresponds to an individual feature dataset. I have created a workbench with Workspace Runners for each of the individual workbenches so I can run them from there instead of individually.I have used a schemaScanner in the individual workbenches because the schema may change on the incoming datasets without my knowledge. For this reason I had set the first workbench run to overwrite the geodatabase instead of truncate to account for schema changes when doing geodatabase updates. However when I try to run it, I get an error that the geodatabase is locked. To get around this, at the beginning of the workbench I’d like to delete the existing geodatabase and then run each of the workbenches to recreate it. To do this I have read I should move the geodatabase to a temporary folder that FME will then delete at the end of the workbench run. I am have used the temp path creator to create an attribute

I´m in need to calculate the shortest distance in 3d between a set of basepoints and a line.Something similar to a Neighborfinder in 3d mode.Do any of you know a way to do this? 

Hello FME community,I have a workspace that uses the FileCopyWriter to move files from folder a to folder b. After that, FME Flow should show the user an HTML report showing which files were moved and the path.I thought I could use data streaming service for this. But then the files are written to a ZIP file instead of being moved to the correct folder. The HTML-report is in this ZIP file too.So is there a way to achieve my goal or is this impossible?Thanks for any help

I remember back in 2021 when this happened, someone from Safe was able to point me to where the “recover” file was saved. Please help me again as i have created a very robust workspace but have not saved it and it would take me 3 hrs to recreate this workspace

I’m following this API documentation to authenticate and can successfully do so in Postman.  However, with the HTTPCaller it keeps returning a 400 error:    "error": {        "code": "no_grant_type_provided",        "message": "Bad Request",        "status": 400    },I feel like I’m close but can’t crack this nut...what am I doing wrong?? Postman:Postman HTTPCaller:HTTPCaller 

I have several polygons. They follow a line pattern where tre long polygons should be one large, and by that i mean that there should be no space between them, and instead of three long polygons it should be one large. The following image shows three pairs, so these nine polygons should be three larger polygons.  Any idea how to do this?

I need to find lines which are completely outside polygonsI am using the Spatialfilter with “Filter is OGC-Disjoint From Candidate”. All of them pass and I dont understand why?Current workflow This is my dummy data i am using. As you can see, the line highlighted with the red box is clearly the only line disjointed from the polygon. So why does all candidate pass, it make no sense to me? I’m working through a test case to pull a table data from one of our MS SQL databases into Google BigQuery. I’ve downloaded and installed the BigQuery package from FME Hub and setup the needed Clientid and secret to have it connect to our Google Cloud project. It tests successfully in the services setup, and if I use the GoogleBigQueryConnector, I’m able to select our cloud project and dataset for reading, so I know the connectivity part of it is working. The issue is trying to write something to BigQuery.If I go to create a writer and choose “Google BigQuery” as the format, the Format selection stays red, like it’s an invalid selection. What am I missing?Unable to select Google BigQuery as a Writer format 

HiWe need to allow users create a zipped shapefile with a single feature. The shapefile needs to be named as the reference for that feature (an attribute in the table)I can create a zipfile by clicking the zip icon in the dataset field of the writer. However, this just creates a zipfile which is named after the folder it is saved in.Is there a way to name the zipfile using an attribute? Or is there a way to automatically rename the zipfile? Thanks

I’ve attempted to use the SpatialFilter, but it only offers options like "intersects" or "touches." However, I specifically need to determine if the polygons are overlapping.Has anyone encountered this issue or found a way to achieve this in FME? Hi, I created a shapefile with line segments (roads).  This shapefile has to be loaded into a postgis database and the person who has to do that sends me that she gets this error  ERROR:  Column has M dimension but geometry does notCONTEXT:  COPY tmp_shp_crab_wegsegment, line 1, column geom: "01050000208A7A00000100000001020000000700000000F3BE9F41600A4180690B0048FD0941005FDD2623600A41008F7F97..."I did some searching on the forum and found some things like the Measure remover, and I also set the output dimension to 2D in the writer but she says she still gets it. Does anyone know what else it could be due to? Thx!Nathalie

Hi,I keep going in circles and can’t think of an easy way to do this. Has anyone got any tipsBasically, I have an attribute such as “TEST_240829_MLS_5_316460_5816230”What I what to do is remove “_316460_5816230” from the end. I’m wanting it to adaptively remove this part of the string from several thousand inputs.Normally I would use the attribute trimmer however the length of this part of the string will change (not a constant thing I can remove). This part of the input string does always start at the second last occurrence on the “_” delimiter and go until the end. The amount of delimiters is not constant in the part of the string I want to keep though, so I also can’t use the attribute splitter and then rebuild the part I want from the parts of a listIs there an easy wany to do this?

I have a workbench set up on a desktop PC that is reading numerous data sets from folders on that computer. The workbench is also saved locally.I have moved a copy of the data and workbench in the same folder structure onto our shared network where the start of the file path is different.eg. C:\\Data\\Workbench.fmw & C:\\Data\\Input\\Data.xlsbecomesP:\\Project\\Projectname\\Data\\Workbench.fmw & P:\\Project\\Projectname\\Data\\Input\\Data.xls How can I set up the workbench so I only need to change the folder path to data sources once, and all the others know that the relative path has changed? Thanks!

I’m attempting to use a Feature Reader and where clause to identify features in a Mobile Geodatabase with a “publish_date” (datetime) greater than the “LAST_UPDATE_TIME” (datetime) from an SDE Geodatabase. With help from the article below, I was able to accomplish this with a File Geodatabase and SDE Geodatabase, but I’ve now migrated my script to FME 2024 and need to use MGDB instead of FGDB. It seems the formatting is different (I validated in FME 2024 against the FGDB instead of MGDB - it works).Feature Reader from Esri FGDB with a where clause based on a last_updated (date/time) field | Community (safe.com)Below is my attempted logic, where the format of publish date and LAST_UPDATE_TIME, as far as FME is showing me, appears identical.   The FGDB solution has some not-so-straightforward formatting so there might be something similar here. Any help?

I have an Attribute with integer values (4 Digits) and have to extract the first two Digits and write them to a new Attribute.In RegEx I think it is ^\\d\\d. How can I do that in FME?I tried with ExpressionEvaluator and AttributeSplitter @FindRegEx(@Value(Attributename)^\\d\\d)but it does not working. Thanks for helping.
