As a part of a study project, two different data sets are to be compared (official data and free data). The comparison is modeled successfully (see image below).In addition, I would like to produce an overview that shows me which categories of a data set are in the wrong category of the other data set >> like a advanced Confusion Matrix.For this I use currently the StatisticsCalculator, which gives me the name and the feature count of the "wrong" categories. I would like to expand this list attributes by the total amount of the area (sum(area_category[i]).The result, a list with the contents .name, .count and .areaSum should be to output as XML file.I do not get these two steps modeled without further help. Hi all,I'm using the WMS Reader and I'd like to use an extra parameter in my query. As far as I can see, only the ones in the `map options` can be set (widht, height, format, srs, time, elevation).Is there a way to add an extra parameter, like concatening my KVP to the query?Thank you in advance.Rémi

If I leave it as sheet 1 all the hyperlinks work. I have multiple sheets that I will add to the excel file so this function should work fine and has in the past version. Could someone help?

Hi, I'm trying to export a tin terrain model to a fmear file. I can't find much information on how to do that and which transformers that I need to use. I have tried different input formats and the only thing that worked was a simple sylinder. That was exported from a vrml file and I could display it the apple fmear app. Is there any information on how to do it? Regards Johan

Hi,I'm fairly new to FME so please bear with me.I have setup a workbench that that creates a simple HTML report (few stats from a MapInfo Tab) for a colleague. I am using "@DateTimeFormat(@DateTimeNow(),%B %d %Y" as my fanout parameter to name the html file by the date it was created each time the work bench is run. My emailer is setup with the body text as "Click <a href="$(DestDataset_HTML)">here</a>". Before I added the fanout option to name each output my hyperlink would link directly to the output file but since adding this it just links to the output folder. Can anyone tell me why that is and how I might be able to get around it?Cheers!Phil

Hello community, I have a set of circles as shown in the picture below, and I wanna count the number of overlapping circles two by two. which means whenever there is overlapping couple of 2 circles there is an overlap to count. For the example below, the result must be 6. is there a way to do it ?

Hi,I am not having much luck with my loop. I set it initially to 4 and hope to iterate through a table which there where filter for level = dropping by 1 each time from 4 to 0 where there loop then completes. Hi friends~,I have an Emailer transformer to send email as part of the processing.The parameter setup is as followss;- Email Service: Generic SMTP- Encryption: NoneNow it gives warning message as follows;Emailer: <class 'smtplib.SMTPDataError'>: (554, '5.5.2 No valid recipients').My understanding is that the relay server of the SMTP is in place.Any experience or suggestion would be appreciated.Thanks ~David

I will be running several datasets through the workspace, all with different values missing and/or present. So if I run data through the workspace and there are no entries that has TYPE = Rework, the output looks like this:TYPEGEOCLASSRESTRICTIONSIGNMissing4132Incorrect3361What I need instead is:TYPEGEOCLASSRESTRICTIONSIGNMissing4132Incorrect3361Rework0000So what I essentially need is to just have a test for each TYPE (Missing, Incorrect, Rework) and if there are no entries, I pretty much just need to create a blank entry (0, or _, or whatever) with the same TYPE name.Am I overthinking this or missing the obvious?Thanks in advance,

I'm just trying to get an epoch timestamp. I have a Creator>Attribute Creator>Inspector. I'm using @DateTimeFormat(@DateTimeNow(),%s) but am getting null returned. All other formats work. What would cause this?Seems like I'm having an issue with epoch time. I'm seeing the same results (null values or rejected features) in other transformers as well, such as the DateTimeFormater. I have tried converting both ways, from and to epoch. Interestingly the 'preview' in the transformer always works. My '%s' format is also auto-recognized as epoch too.

I am taking data from a shapefile and mashing it with a CSV, and the attribute I am having issue with has null, numbers and non-numeric characters/alphabetic values (from the input).The target field in my output is an integer type (uint). I would like to make Null all attributes of that field that are non-numeric (some are purely alphabetic; others have characters like in a date format).I was hoping to use an AttributeManager that I was already utilizing to perform this operation, but I don't know how (or what other transformer would be best).

Hi all, I've done some data preparation of OpenStreetMap data (epsg:4326) in QGIS and as part of that work reprojected the OSM data to epsg:27700, naughtily relying on QGIS on the fly reprojection without too much thought. That defaults to a transformation that looks good in QGIS for my purposes and aligns well with the OSM web tiles in QGIS. I now want to use the 3DTiles in FME visualisation to export the data as a Cesium web map (thus going back from epsg 27700 to 4326) but I see a shift of about 1m or 2m of my OSM data when in Cesium (i.e. the product of the FME writer). I presume this is because FME is doing a different transformation to go back (appears to default to using OSTN15 grid shift) to that which I applied in QGIS.   The QGIS transformation appears to be named as EPSG:1314. https://epsg.io/1314 so I thought I could transform the data with that to 4326, before sending to the 3DTiles writer. However, I can't find epsg:1314 as a transformation in the csMapReprojec

I am trying to get NeighborFinder to match effectively two different datasets in such as why that each candidate is only matched to one base but not all bases have candidates. (Should be able to find these by utilizing the Maximum Distance Field). However, when the data gets chaotic and there are 10 measurements on top of each other, the matching candidates (which are labels) are often not the closest candidates. I am wondering if anyone has an idea about how to match a cluster of measurements with their candidates in such as way that it produces the lowest average distance between the bases and candidates and makes sure that each candidate finds a reasonably close base. This image illustrates the problem. I bet that using a waterfall technique would get about 20% of this wrong.

I have a workspace that reads from a source File Geodatabase (.gdb) using the ESRI Geodatabase Open API format. When running the Workspace in Workbench with prompts, the parameter for the Source limits the browser to and/or understands that a File Geodatabase (.gdb) is the only acceptable selection/input.I have since published said Workspace to FME Server and the same parameter has no such limitation/understanding. When browsing to select the input (GDB) it displays the items within the GDB the same as if it were a simple directory (folder). If I click "OK" after choosing not to select anything within the GDB, server places the directory path in the parameter with a "/" at the end signifying that I want to use everything in the GDB as the input instead of the GDB as the input and the Workspace fails. If I manually remove the "/" from the end and run it, it succeeds.What must be done to get the published Server Workspace to function as the Workbench Wor

I have run into a very strange problem. To simplify work I have created two folders, one incoming and one outgoing. Note that this is on a external disk. I have dropped the files I want to work on in the incoming folder and gathered the results in the outgoing. I recently moved everything FME to an other location on the same disk and proceeded to point the readers and writers to the new locations. For some strange reason I can't get this to work correctly. Everything else is identical and FME claims to write to the new folder but it turns out empty. If I delete the writer and insert a new one with identical settings it works again. Is there some workaround for this?

Hi, I would like to convert a dataset with GPS tracking points to routes using the the LineBuilder transformer. My challenge is that I want to create separate routes based on break values/attributes. Each route start with zero (value) and ends with one (value). Based on break values/attributes I would like to add an unique routeID to each route (collection of points) and use this as connection break attribute in the LineBuilder. Hi I have a grid index, I want to use the attribution from the index to pull various raster tiles. Currently, I have clipped the index to my area of interest. These are then feeding into my FeatureReader. I have setup the FeatureReader as seen below. Here is where I have the problem, the FeatureReader is writing out the original index and not the rasters I wanted to select (Using the SHEET_NAME from the index). What am I doing wrong?
