The good news is you don’t have to choose between all or nothing. Rather than unsubscribing from everything, you can hand-select exactly what you’d like to hear from us across Product, Marketing, and Sales updates, and update those preferences at any time. Here’s How:Step 1: Scroll to the bottom of any email from Safe Software. Step 2: Select the middle option, ‘Email Preferences’ Step 3: You'll be taken to a preferences page where you can check or uncheck which topics you want to stay in the loop on. We hope this helps anyone wanting to streamline their inbox while ensuring they don’t miss the FME updates that matter most to them!Let us know if you have any questions or run into any trouble in the thread below or by

Last week, we kicked off our 2026 FME Breakfast of Champions series in Ottawa. We’ve been hosting this series since 2024 as a spin-off of the World Tour, creating space for FME users of all levels to come together in person. What started as an idea has now grown to 13+ cities across North America and Europe (and counting).Bringing people together over breakfast creates space to share ideas, learn what’s new in FME, and see how it’s driving real-world impact. One of the things that makes these events special is that we always have customers presenting - grounding the conversation in real use cases, real challenges, and real impact. In Ottawa, we heard from:✈️ Robyn Lane (NAV Canada), who shared how FME is used to automate Obstacle Clearance Circles - critical for aviation safety. By reducing manual calculations and integrating trusted data sources, they’re improving accuracy, efficiency, and trust in published data.🚓 Anastasia Kurbakovskaya (Ottawa Police), who walked us through their Co

Hi everyone! 👋 If you’ve been part of the FME Community for a while, you likely know Dmitri Bagh (@dmitribagh). Dmitri has been with Safe Software since 2005 and is well known for exploring new and experimental features from a user’s perspective. His latest blog post takes a more personal turn — and it’s a fantastic example of thinking beyond traditional enterprise workflows. The Challenge:After more than a decade of using a Fitbit, Dmitri had accumulated 11 years of wearable data — step counts, floors climbed, resting heart rate, and more. When his device failed earlier this year, he faced a common question:How do you switch platforms without losing your historical data? The Solution:Instead of relying on paid migration services or slow API transfers, Dmitri built a self-service workflow using FME:Exported ~24,000 files of Fitbit data via Google Takeout Processed CSV and JSON data in FME Normalized timestamps and aggregated daily summaries Output yearly JSON files formatted for Apple
