I am able to convert Autocad dimensions to “Arcmap” dimensions following the response of @Mark Stoakes  : https://community.safe.com/s/question/0D54Q000080hgppSAA/migrating-dimensions-from-autocad-to-esri

However if I try to write dimensions to a geodatabase with an ArcGIS Pro geodatabase template, I get this error :

|FATAL |GEODATABASE_FILE writer: An unknown exception occurred

I read that is not yet supported to read “ArcGIS Pro dimensions” with FME : https://community.safe.com/s/question/0D54Q00008wRTK3SAO/getting-error-like-unable-to-convert-row-to-dimensionfeature-while-reading-a-dimesions-file

Is it also impossible to write dimensions to an esri geodatabase with an ArcGIS Pro geodatabase template ? You’ll find my fmwt in attachment.

Any advices is welcome 😊

Hi @lau currently the Geodatabase format (in FME) does not support both the Reading or the Writing of dimensions. We have an open ticket tracking this enhancement request. The ticket number is FMEENGINE-59904. I've added this post to the ticket and we will notify you here as soon as the enhancement has been released! Thanks for your understanding.
