Hi,I am new to FME, I am using FME 2019 version.I am trying to smallworld data to google maps. My smallworld data is in Belgium Lambert coordinate system. I have created a new custom coordinate system(by referring Belgium Lambert Meter coordinate system) in FME. I am using this coordinate system in the readerI am exporting in .GPX format.In the writer I am using EPSG:3857 coordinate system for projecting it in google maps.But the data is displaying in arctic circle but not in belgium region.Could someone help me in getting out of this problem.Thanks in Advance.Regards,Raja.

Hi,I am trying to figure out how to have multiple lists in a single email. I have a ID field for features missing invert elevations, being passed to a list builder, list concatenator, to an attribute manager (to insert some text before the ID's), and then the Emailer transformer.I want to include the construction drawings each ID has, so I am using a DuplicateFilter and going through the same series of transformers but the emailer sends out 2 different emails, each with the different list. I am testing on FME 2018.1 and will be publishing this to FME Server 2018.1 as well.Thanks!

I have a hosted feature service in Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1.I can read the feature service with FME 2019.0.0.1 Build 19246 - win32. However the date fields are read with a value that is 2 hours earlier.In Portal for ArcGIS, in the hosted feature data tab I see the date that we entered into the service via the Survey123 app: 5/27/2019, 12:00AMWhen I read the same record with FME the value is 20190526220000: Both the Portal for ArcGIS Server and the FME Server are set to UTC +1 with daylight saving time. The time for both servers is the same.The hosted feature service was made via Survey123 - thus the data sits in the Portal. The field above is filled in with the Survey123 form but I also see that the editor tracking fields are affected.We use FME to make a report of the Survey123 collected records so it is important that the dates are correct. I also see the issue if I read the data in FME Desktop.Has anyone experienced this sort of issue before?Thanks,Annette

Hi,We have installed FME Server build 2019.0.0.1.I want to adjust the download url pattern using Admin > Services.The installation document does refer to the option here: https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Server_Documentation/AdminGuide/Changing-Web-App-Server-Host-Name-Port.htm But the option is not present in the Administrator interface. See screenshot below. Have I missed something or is there another way to configure this in FME Server 2019? Thanks, Annette

I'm converting some DGN files to GDB and want to name the output files with the input filename. I have extracted the input file to an attibute called "_rootname" and done a fan out in the writer on the attribute name as shown hereThis works fine. But I want to zip the output file at the same time. What settings should I use? I've tried various things but can't get it to work. 

Hello,I have a point cloud for which I would like to extract the coordinates of the single point where the point cloud reach its maximum value.I can use the pointCloudStatisticsCalculator to obtained the maximum value of x. Is there a way to obtain the corresponding ordinates (y) and altitude(z) values for that x without coercing the pointcloud?Thanks

Hi folks,While I was extracting a nested JSON object using the JSONExtractor, it seemed like I stumbled upon an issue. Consider the following JSON:{    "integer_0": 2019,    "string_0": "hello",    "boolean_0": false,    "nested_item": {        "integer_1": 2020,        "string_1": "bye",        "boolean_1": true    }}When I use the JSONExtractor with target attribute 'boolean_0' and JSON Query 'json["boolean_0"]', it creates an attribute 'boolean_0' with value 'false'. So far so good.If I however use the JSONExtractor with target attribute 'nested_item' and JSON Query 'json["nested_item"]', it creates an attribute 'nested_item' with value:{    "integer_1": 2020,    "string_1": "bye",    "boolean_1": 1}In this case it thus seems that the boolean value of the json object 'boolean_1' is converted from 'true' to '1'. When using the JSONFragmenter I don't experience this automatic conversion. Am I overlooking something and is this intended behaviour for the JSONExtractor, or is this some k

I want to capture metrics every time someone runs the workbench on FME Server. The metrics will include the timestamp, project (a user parameter), the user (parameter), # of features read, # of features written, # of files written, and how long it took. I don't really care about the format (excel, csv, rtf, dbf, ...) just that it needs to be cumulative. The workbench is on the server for people throughout the company to use and I need to calculate usage and value added to the projects.Is there anyway to do this?

@takashiI have a 3D wedge shape polygon which I want to make into a solid with the base being the lowest z of the polygon. I have tried solid builder etc. but can't get the output. Any help will be much appreciated.

I'm using FME Desktop to run Validation Checks on a large ESRI SDE network. The intention is to run the checks daily on recently edited data. While a filter can be applied on some checks (i.e.: checking attributes are valid), others need to be checked across the full network, i.e.: a Point Feature added today needs to be checked against the full Line dataset to ensure its location is valid - a Valve must be located at the end point of 2 Mains, etc.These large filters are difficult to process so I was hoping to use Workspace Runner to split the workspaces by location, so instead of say: A. Checking all Valves in the whole network against all MainsWeB. Check all Valves in Polygon 1 against all Mains in Polygon 1C. Then check all Valves in Polygon 2 against all Mains in Polygon 2D. etc. etc.I'm not that experienced with FME but are there any tutorials or can anybody tell me how to do this using the Workspace Runner and say the Clip transformer. I am designing a workflow that will streamline our our 911 data to ESRI ArcPortal as well as a local geodatabase. the information fed in is from a SQL server and represents specific apparatus information as related to a particular call, and runs through some calculations for things like response time, time on call, etc.. I've gotten to the point where the data splits off in 2 streams one for apparatus data and another for unique call data compiled by merging apparatus information and aggregating the data by the Call Report number. Everything works fine to this point.The initial run of this yielded over 600,000 features to be written since a dataset of call information didn't exist prior this was expected. This initial dataset was then uploaded to our portal service since the Portal writer appears to only insert, update or delete. I run the script daily to pull the previous days call information and when it got to the point that the data was going to be pushed to our portal I g

HelloI seem to be too tired or lost in confusion ... I want to set the "Output Contour Interval" in ContourGenerator via an attribute.Problem: It only allows fixed input or a predefined parameter. So I tried to put this into a Custom transformer, publish the parameter and set it from "outside" ...BUT: no success. Also for the Custom Transformer parameter I can only use a parameter. Next try: @Value(attribute_name) also doesn't work I hope there is a more flexible way to control the ContourGenerator output than to put it into its' own workspace ?!B.T.W. same situation for DEMGenerator and maybe other similar tranformers ... 

Hi.I just tried (in 2018.1 x64) to add a Separator to the Page Content list. When I tried to move the Separator to the top of the page content list, both my previous Header and List items lost their settings.I also tried to put the Header and List to the bottom instead, but that resulted in much the same rresult.It looks like the settings aren't following the rearranged items.This looks very much like a bug to me.Cheers.

helloHow should I proceed to build the opposite (image) of a polygone (object) with respect to a line?

My workspace has a published parameter `area` which can have the values `country` or `province`. It also contains a SpatialFilter transformer that only needs to be executed if `area = province`. How do I evaluate whether this condition is met only once for the entire dataset? Because I have hundreds of thousands of features, I don't want to evaluate the condition for each feature seperately. I would like to do conditional processing on the *dataset* level in stead of the feature level, so Tester and TestFilter are probably not the solutions I'm looking for.

I know that there is a writer that writes, updates or replaces data in availible layers. Is it possible to write multipatch also? Second question; is it possible to create new layers in AGOL from FME?

Has anybody else noticed their reader/writer/transformer annotations drifting in FME 2019? I shall admit I can be a bit pernickety about layout, so I do find it mildly annoying to find that my aligned annotations suddenly have drifted upwards when I open my workbench anew.

I have a general question about the way FME is able to read data. Right now I have data stored on a fileserver, which I want to read into FME directly.What would happen if someone else is accessing this data, either directly or through another application, while I was reading the data into FME? Would this cause an error in FME? Or could simultaneously reading the data from the fileserver, while someone else is accessing or probably editing this data in another apllication have a negative effect on the performance in the other application?Now, I just copy the files from the fileserver each time I want to read them all. However, I'm trying to find out if this is really neccesary or if I can just load them directly without causing other problems.

Hi Community,I have a lot of lines which are generated from raster centerpoints. All the lines consist of 2 vertexes. I would like to aggregate all the lines that touch to one feature. I tried this using the Linecombiner but this transformer doesn't connect lines when more than two lines come together. Any suggestions?
