I have autocad files i am pulling some polyline entities from. i am currently using the PointVertexReplacer to extract the coordinates of the polylines.The problem i am having is that i began expecting 3 vertices; (a begin, a vertex, and an end). I encountered a line with 4 vertices. Previously i just iterated with AttributeFilter through 0,1,2 as these 3 vertices.But because 1 line has 4 vertices the 3rd vertex is not the end. (it would be nice if there were a begin/end attribute that could be grabbed.)I am trying to figure out how to filter these prior to this and can only come up with using the feature information but cannot expose this information. I can see the number of vertices value but it is not exposable. I assume i could do a count but it seems that would require quite a few more transformers.Can anyone suggest how to accomplish this? 

HiA colleague is making maps in QGIS and is using an Open Street Map WMS layer to provide the background mapping. However, the exported map does not match what is displayed in the QGIS project. It appears to be a different zoom and the labels are hard to read.I'm looking at using FME to export the area of interest to a raster file. I'm using the WMS reader as my input and set a search envelope. When I run a workspace from FME Desktop the Log Message Filter setting in FME Options/Translation is respected. But it's ignored when I run fme.exe from the command line and pass a Command file. Is there a parameter I can set on the command line or in the command file? I just want Errors and Warnings.

Hi  I was wondering would anyone know what I am doing wrong here? I need to run an FME workspace on a second machine in an automated way from my first machine. So I am using the systemcaller and passing the following using PSExec to remote call the fme workspace on the second server. Nothing is happening and im getting the exitcode 1 PSExec \\myservername "c:\Program Files (x86)\FME2019\FME.exe" d:\FME_Workspaces\test.fmw If I run the above in cmd directly this runs exactly how I expect, is there something I am missing on the system caller side?I have tried a few variations by adding cd C:\Windows\System32 before PSExec but I cant seem to get anywhere. It is essential I find a method to start an fme workspace remotely from the first machine, seems like it would be easy to do ?? Any ideas? Thanks 

Dear FME CommunityI have 70 different species datasets - Species 1, Species 2, Species 3, ..., Species 70. Each dataset is stored in ArcGIS Online. I want to write each dataset to Shapefile. I am trying to create a reader / parameter that will enable me to pick a single species to write to shapefile when I run the FME script. Hi Guys,i have a block on Layer 0 which includes also another block which is called Heizhaus.... i explode the block and Use block feature type for components so that i have them in the original layer in the Output: i also use a template filethat are the Basics:so at the end of my workflow (rot 1) the text is in the right Rotation and everything is fine ...but when i write it to the ACAD File teh text gets a Rotation which is false and i don't know where this Rotation Comes from. (rot 2)i have tried to write in the real dwg writer….. i have tried to fill certain Attributes like AutoCAD_rotation, fme_rotation, AutoCAD_text_rotation.. i have tried to read the Output DWG and set a new rotation and no Logical number (e.g plus 180, 360 Degrees or something like that)Nothing happens...Always the same false rotationAny ideas or helpsGreetzFranco   

I am using FME 2018.1 32-bit and while reading an .accdb file, I am encountering this error "WARN |Microsoft Access Reader: The epoch time is out of range. Please ensure it is specified in seconds, and not in milliseconds or microseconds". Translation stops after this with a Fatal Error message. There are more than 2.5 million records in the table i am accessing. If I give a where condition an extract 100 odd records, it does execute. When i run the same Workbench in FME 2017.0 32-bit without any WHERE condition, it executes successfully. Any info on how can i troubleshoot this error ?

The AttribueValueMapper could do this I know, but I would like to point to the excel so I can 'manipulate' the scores in excel and not in FME workbench. Hello, I would like to use a wildcard within a conditonal statement. But I don't know if this is possible.  For example, I have the following records:MeldingFor object(s) 001, 002 the date dd-mm-yyyy is later than de original date dd-mm-yyyy. For object(s) 001 the date dd-mm-yyyy is later than de original date dd-mm-yyyy. For object(s) 002, 004 the date dd-mm-yyyy is later than de original date dd-mm-yyyy. I would like to use a conditional statement that gives me recors 1 and 3. So in this case it will become: Instead, I would like to use a wildcard, so that I only need one test clause. Because in my dataset a lot more combinations are possible. Is it possible to use a wildcard so that the test clause can become like this? (I know that % doesn't work, but I use it here to give an idea what I would like to accomplish).  Thanks in advance,Eva

Hello,I'm wondering about data showing in the Visual Preview.  Below an example. Two flows of data going to two Inspectors. When I select the SRC_RAW Inspector the Visual Preview shows the SRC_NORMALIZED data. I will have to use the drop down menu in the Visual Preview to retrieve the SRC_RAW data.  That has annoyed me for quite some time now - why can't I just select the Inspector and see the proper data straight away?      Cheers, Ed 

Hello everyone, I need urgent help with my workspace for converting Sketchup to Citygml. Some posts among the forum say that FME wouldn't support the creation of XLinks. Therefore I created my workbench according to this old "How to write Citygml in FME"-Tutorial and used gml_id and gml_parent_id to express the part-whole-relationships. Now I found that if I use the Citygml_feature_types.xml file within the program folder to import the Writer Type, the autocomplete function provides a list attribute called citygml_bounded_by{}.xlink_href. I tried it out and indeed it created XLinks for the gml_ids I gave to it, but how can I manage to create a Solid with only XLinks referencing the BoundarySurfaces? With my current workspace it creates the geometries for the BoundarySurfaces twice + XLinks once.  I hope you guys can help me -- many thanks in advance.
