I see that the OS NTF option is in the list of readers, but not writers? Is there a reason for this? I'm having the same issue with space delimited .XYZ files - I can ask FME to read these, but no writer either?
Any tips much appreciated!!

At one point the ability to write NTF was very nearly introduced but the need wasn't great enough for the requisite effort. Its a pretty niche format almost exclusively used to provide some of the older Ordnance Survey datasets, most of which are slowly being supplied now in other more accessible formats like MID/MIF, DXF and Shape... more recently GML is being adopted as the vector standard for data supply. If you have a prorientary system that consumes NTF that you are trying to process your data for I suspect it also consumes one of the other common formats and most datasets offered by the OS are also available for download in something other than NTF, so perhaps try that route first.
As for Writing .XYZ files the CSV Writer is your friend here as Sig suggests. It also allows you to swap the file extension to something other than CSV if you take a look at the parameters when you add the writer.
