I know about the feature service in FME to create and update Feature services in ArcGIS Online, but I want to create (copy to, host), for example a Word file, in ArcGIS Online.

Hi @dparsons42,

It looks like this might be possible and we have a template on the FME Hub that will give you an idea of how to accomplish this. Check out the AttachmentWriter on the FME Hub.

It will be helpful to look into the custom transformer within the AttachmentWriter as you will likely have to do something similar with the PythonCaller. If you aren't familiar with editing custom transformers, be sure to check out the Custom Transformers section of the FME Desktop Advanced training manual!

Thanks Chris, I took a look and was hoping for a simple AGOL Document writer. My document is not an attachment to a feature, but a stand alone document I'd like to copy to a folder in AGOL.

Hi @dparsons42, We don't currently have an AGOL document writer in FME. There is an idea to add support for working with documents here: https://knowledge.safe.com/content/idea/47073/arcgis-online-connector.html Please do add your vote to that if it's something you'd like to see in a future FME version.
