I usually only work with vector data but now have a task to create 3DPDF documents for distributing to a project team.

My issue is this:  how to generate a colorized raster representaion in 3DPDF using the raster contained within an Esri FGDB.

I am completely new to this process and can get it to produce a TIN from the raster, but i am unsure of how to colorize the raster and have it represented in a 3D model of the source raster.

Any help would be great, thanks!
Hi,

Some of these examples might help you.

Also it sounds to me like you are on the right way, just need to drape the raster onto the TIN and write it to 3Dpdf.

Hope this helps.

See dimitri's first demo ( around 12 min) about drapping a raster onto a tin and writing to a 3Dpdf.
