I’m reading a GPKG table, and when I view the data in the Data Inspector, I notice that FME removes some small holes in my polygons. How can I prevent this from happening?

Can you share any sample data so we can try? I personally have never seen something like this before so I suspect something else is happening. Like invalid orientation of donuts.

Is it possible that the hole is still there, but the Data Inspector is showing a simplified version of the polygon?

What happens when you select the polygon?

On the left the polyon is not selected, and the hole is invisible. On the right the polygon is selected, showing the hole.

And if that’s the case, the Feature Information panel should give you the geometries of all the holes.
