I have Feature Reader that pulls tiff files, these are then passed on to the Geotiff writer. I now want the writer to write the tiffs, with the world files. I have selected within the writer to include world files but it is not working. I've uploaded the workspace. Thanks for any help.Bjudes

I am attempting to convert a DWG file to an ESRI Shapefile for use in Arcmap and ArcGIS online. The placement of the shapefiles seems to come out ok, however some of the geometry is missing. Just pieces of layers. An inspector was added to the workbench and the geometry looked just fine in it. This has been attempted in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of workbench. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!

Hi,The source my customer is PointCloud files ( 4 files ) and these files has different times, for example:File A = was caught on the day 08/12/2015File B = was caught on the day 10/11/2015File C = was caught on the day 22/12/2015File D = was caught on the day 02/03/2016I know that the transformer PoinCloudCombiner is perfect to do this "mosaic" between Pointclouds.My question is: How the FME works to do a interpolation / mosaic for these 4 files - PointClouds with different times? Hi,on a project, i'm using a FeatureReader to call different shapefiles, localized in different folders.The purpose is modifying shapefile names to normalize them throw AttributeManager, one for the Schema outpout port and another one for th Generic. Until here, everythnig works.By the way, i'm trying to modify the attributes format which are being created by the writer, for instance varchar(254) -> varchar(5). With dynamic mode, i guess i have to modify the schema values with some ListExploder -> AttributeManager -> ListBuilder.Once these operations are done, the new schema has exactly the same attributes name and lists than the original schema, but the dynamic shapefiles aren't writen..Is there something i'm doing wrong??Thanks for helping!!!

I have experienced that setting (windows) system variables HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY overrides the proxy settings in (some parts of) FME Workbench / Server. For example the HTTPCaller seems to use the proxy settings from the HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY system variables, even if the options in FME Workbench are different. The same is described in the GML Reader's documentation. In this documentation is stated that the GML reader follows up on the http_proxy environment variable.When I do set these variables then the HTTPCaller transformer (and the FMEServerJobSubmitter) is not able to reach local adresses anymore (it will try to use the proxy for everything). Even if I fill provide a bypass list in NO_PROXY. For example, then FME Server's dashboard statistics gathering workspaces do not work. So it seems to ignore the NO_PROXY variable.I need to set the HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY and NO_PROXY enviroment variables because some of my own (embedded) Python scripts use them. For exampl

I am a new user trying to split out TRUE FALSE values contained in column Web with the TestFilter, but can't seem to hit on the correct Test Condition. Each time I Run Translation everything goes through to Unfiltered. It would appear that the TestFilter isn't recognising Alpha characters.When I change alpha TRUE to numeric 1 then the TestFilter works fine. This doesn't help when I have Alpha Numeric values such as 06HaaR.I would value assistance in this regard please.Cheers

I want to determine when a dwg file has a certain percentage of 3D Faces versus other solids. It doesn't appear GeometryValidator or GeometryFilter provide for this. Am I missing something there or is there another solution?Sometimes an input model may have cylindrical shapes comprised of 3D Faces around their perimeters and defining their end caps. They look okay to the eye but are horrible to process. Wanting to distinguish those flat 3D Faces (versus other solid primitive shapes).

Hi,I am picking up some JSON from a feature reader and outputting to Excel. It works fine but I would like to order the Excel output so that some header fields are always returned first, e,g, ID, Name, CountryThe trouble is that this JSON is dynamic and sometimes doesnt include the attribute 'Country' if it hasn't been populated. This means when the JSON gets brought in and the first record doesnt contain country then it would look structure like so:ID, NAME, FieldA, CountryIs there any way I can partially define the schema whilst leaving the rest dynamic?Thank youOliver

I have a point (base) and a list of lines (candidates). a nearest line is found using NeighborFinder. it seems that the result from "matched" port does not have geometry of matched lines (the candidates). Any suggestions?

I have the following data; a road network for a city, a number for routes through the city and a point file for each junction where a manoeuvre is required. What I want to identify are the start and end road segments for each manoeuvre along the routes and in the direction the route is.For example, if the route makes a "right turn" I want to identify the road element before the turn and the road element after the turn is made. This order should be in the digitisation direction of the route. I then want to use the information to tag the road elements as "from" and "to" and grouped by the junction ID.At the moment I have been able to select the road elements that make up the manoeuvre but I am struggling to sort them into the correct order of sequence (i.e. in the direction of the route). Any ideas on how I can achieve my desired results?

Hello, i use and like the new ExcelStyler Transformer. Is it possible to define the cell size/wide? When I generate a table all cells have the same size an it looks like this, cause the text seems to be cut:I dont want that the text fit in the cell but that the cell grows with the text. initially i used oracle connection string (username/passwprd@service_name) inside my shutdown python script. Now i created a named connection inside tools -> fme options -> Database connections.Now how can i pass the credential to my python prg?pls help.

I know a way in arcmap using toolbox Conversion Tool under that i am using "feature class to geodatabase" to remove those values by unchecking the m and z values. But, for larger data set, arc map is crashing. Is their any transformer in FME, where we can remove those values in shape files?

Is there a way to set different Z values for each vertex of a line/polygon from a list, like the MeasureSetter in Whole Line/Area mode?  The 3DForcer sets all the vertices to a single elevation, and the VertexCreator replace point at vertex i only does one vertex at a time.
