Hello everybody,please, I just wanna ask if extension in integration console is still available for AutoCAD Map 3D? I met troubles with version of FME 2018 and higher, that I cant see AutoCAD Map 3D via integration console, so I cant extend this application too. Thank You for all responds!Lubo 

I describe an example or a general problem. I have six files (tiles), each one with one o more polygons that have their own (file local) id. As showed in this picture.No common attributes values exists for each whole polygon so a grouped dissolver would not be a solution. The grid geometry (cutter) is known. I am trying to run a workbench from a batch file. The workbench is found in a shared drive (with access permissions), while FME is installed in the C: drive. According to what I've seen in the forums it is a simple command line. However, when running from a batch file, the following error arises: "The specified path is invalid".The batch file is stored in the same shared drive. I have tried the following options, using two path formats "\\\\shareddrive\\maps\\" and "Y:\\":Option one:"C:\\Program Files\\FME\\fme.exe" "\\\\shareddrive\\maps\\FME\\AddressGaz.fmw"Option two:"C:\\Program Files\\FME\\fme.exe" "Y:\\FME\\AddressGaz.fmw" In theory "\\\\shareddrive\\maps\\" and "Y:\\" are equivalent. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Does anybody have a clue?Thanks

I would like to reverse character order in the string e.g. from "Mariusz 123 #$" to "$# 321 zsuiraM". Do you know any FME function or transformer to perform this? I do not know Pyton.

I'm using a TEXT FILE reader to read in JSON so that the encoding can be set to UTF-8 but the JSONFragmenter that is directly connected is still complaining that there are invalid characters that are not UTF-8 compliant. These characters are compliant &-@$!~() . Anyone have a workaround for this issue?

I have a hexadecimal value '50C8BDA0' that I need to convert to it's text value. I have many unknown values but this is my test case. It should be '1355333024'. According to Hexed.it, it's UTF-32 bit Big Endian format. I have tried various combos of binarydecoder, textdecoder, etc. and cannot figure it out. Does someone know the right steps? Excel and Windows Calculator do it automatically the first time so I must be missing something.

I have several excel sheets that have same/similar structures, although some are missing their header names. I can migrate them to SQL Server one-by-one using FME. But I want to loop over the contents of my folder (i.e the excel files) and migrate them all in one go. How do I loop over them? I want to use the same header names for the files missing them as the ones that have them - the header names.

Hi FME Experts, I am trying to use the "WorkspaceRunner" transformer to run workbench based on the other one. in the first workbench I used the creator transformer the WorkspaceRunner, it gives me it is run successfully but it the caching is still updating at the same time also (snapshot).Anyone can help me with that?

I don't understand why this seems to be so hard. I am reading two different google sheets. The first one is input records from the field. The other sheet has the dates of our billing cycles with month, start date, and end date. There is a user parameter to type in month. User a tester I then only add the one month and its start and end dates. I then test the field records to read only those records that fall within the billing date. Originally I had this working when the dates were entered as parameters, but I am looking to automate the entire process and the user does not always know what the dates are for the billing cycle - therefore I want to eliminate the typed in dates and use the read dates from the spreadsheet. The user only has to type in the month.I have a DateTime Converter right after both readers making their output in FME DateTime format. Then the tester using <= and <. As many times before I've populated a multiple choice user parameter from an Excel spreadsheet. This time though, and also in all of my older workbenches now, when the user parameter Promt is shown it displays all the choice options there as well. ? Is this a known bug, and/or is there a workaround? Here are my parameter settings :  Best Jonathan

I have a few workbenches that are executed from a batch file nightly that are being used with a "SYSTEM" login (instead of a user like me) and I was seeing if there is a way to have a script or tool that once those workbenches are done that it returns the floating license for us users during the day. We only have 2 floating licenses.

Hello everybody,please, Im trying to solve problem with FME license server. As I checked, there is possibility to restrict one floating license for specific usergroup (check there https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Desktop_Documentation/FME_Desktop_Admin_Guide/FMEInstallation/Restricting_Licenses_to_Users_or_Groups.htm). But, and its my question, is there any possibility to set exact usage time for specific usergroup?E.g. Just imagine FME License server with 2 floating licenses. I just wanna to restrict one license for usergroup called "GIS" only for daytime from 6PM till 6AM. From 6AM till 6PM, both licenses should be available for all users (doesnt matter of what usergroup). Is there any tool how to set it up please? Thank You so much for all ideas!Lubo

Hi, I have a set of 250 raster tiles, I have reprojected them from ITM to WGS84, before reprojection each tile was 87,215KB. After reprojection the tiles are roughly 180,000KB. Why has this happened? My workbench is included here, I first mosaicked the tiles then reprojected and finally clipped back to the tile boundaries. Thanks for any help.  B

Hi, I am trying to create geometry from a coordinate list in GML but it does not work with the GeometryReplacer (GML). I don't know if I did anything wrong with exposing the XML attribute containing the geo or if the format is the problem. The following template contains the workspace and the XML source. The coordinates are stored in the XML tag "Building.geometry2D.BuildingGeometry2D.geometry.Polygon.exterior.LinearRing.posList Thanks in advance for any help!

I am using a websocket to stream data from FME server (2018) to a web app in a browser. The data I am streaming out can be classified by its location, and the user of the web app only views one location at a time. So ideally the websocket stream id would be something like '<location>_data', where <location> is dynamic and set by the feature in the workspace.This doesn't appear possible though. Setting up the workspace like this seems to instantiate the stream id of the websocket sender with the first feature to pass through it, and then fixes it for the remainder of the job. E.g. if location 'X' was the first feature to be processed, the stream id would be 'X_data' even when locations 'A', 'B' or 'C' passed through. Is this how the websocket sender works? Is there any workaround for this?It is possible for me to stream all data for all locations out through a websocket with stream id 'data', however this is very wa

I have a FME Server (2018.1.01) set up with two local engines and one remote engine. This remote engine periodically shuts down and requires restarting. I haven't found a pattern of anything causing it to shut down. Is this a known issue? I also cannot manage the number of engines for this host, it isn't listed as a host on the engines page in the web interface.
