-2147024894 error when importing reader, file geodatabase

I cannot import a file geodatabase into FME 2014.  I am using ArcGIS 10.1.  I checked with the data provider and they are on the same version.  Also the file geotabase does open in ArcGIS but not FME.  Anyone know why this may be.

Hello KDMUR,

Is the file geodatabase compressed or zipped? That can cause this type of message in FME.

I am facing a similar issue. Was this issue resolved? If so, how?

@cakila

Can you elaborate more on the issue that you are experiencing?

What version of FME Desktop are you currently using?

Are you reading data in Zip folder vs *.gdb?

Can you try reading data with FME Desktop 2019?

We have added a number of Compressed and Archived files that we can read directly see here http://docs.safe.com/fme/2019.0/html/FME_Desktop_Documentation/FME_Workbench/Workbench/archive_files_reading.htm
