I'm trying to convert to points from a csv files (it cointains longitude. latitude) but I am getting different results in FME 2018 and FME 2020 version even when the parameters are the same....do yo know what is happening here? FME 2018 is showing the correct projection. Could you help me with this doubt, please?  Thanks

Hi FME experts,When reading data into a FME workspace, there is a list attribute in each input feature. Some features have 2 elements in the list and some features have 3 elements. For some reason I only want to keep the first two elements of each list. Hi, we have an old FME Server 2017 (permanent license) and a new FME Server 2020 (60days trial).After we moved the workspaces, we would like to move the license from the old server to the new. What do we need / how is it done?How can I deactivate the old server and move the license on the new?

I have problems with foreign characters (åäö ÅÄÖ) in hyperlinks using the excel writer. This works(no foreign characters in hyperlink path):file_path = 1312-P11-47-00054.pdffile_path.hyperlink = C:\\work\\table_extraction\\fme\\template_files\\FME_2019_04_24-14_38_13.3\\xml\\09_Administrativa foreskrifter\\1312-P11-47-00054.pdf This does not work(foreign characters in hyperlink path):file_path = 1312-P11-47-00054.pdffile_path.hyperlink = C:\\work\\table_extraction\\fme\\template_files\\FME_2019_04_24-14_38_13.3\\xml\\09_Administrativa föreskrifter\\1312-P11-47-00054.pdf In the Excel output I always get something like this when hovering the hyperlink when the foreign characters are in the path:file:///C:\\work\\table_extraction\\fme\\template_files\\FME_2019_04_24-14_38_13.3\\zz.xlsx The excel file seems to link to itself which is wrong. I have filtered air temp into average daily max and min. And I would like to display them in two columns filtered by date and station. In the final table, only the max temp is showing in both columns. How do I show min temp as well?

Hello! I'm iterating through 58 file geodatabases and grabbing a feature class of a common name from each (though I'm only using 3 of the feature classes for testing right now). Then I'm trying to use the AreaOnAreaOverlayer transformer to effectively clip millions of features by state boundaries and give them a field with a value for which state they are in. There seems to be a bottleneck at the AreaOnAreaOverlayer transformer (see attached screenshot) that is on track to take hundreds of hours with just 5% of the data coming through.  FME 2021.0 is using ~20GB of memory and I'm getting the following message in my log:ResourceManager: Optimizing Memory Usage. Please wait...AreaOnAreaOverlayer (OverlayFactory): Searching for topologically significant nodes... 0.79% done Does anyone know of a faster way to do this? Any help would be much appreciated!

Greetings,Setting up the google drive connector I read the app permissions which is shown below. It states the app wants permission to 'EVERYTHING'. My question is, what does this mean? Does "app" mean "SAFE". In other words will SAFE/SAFE employees have access and view of the entire google drive? When creating more complex JSON's with a double JSONTemplater the workspace fails on ampersants (&). With just one JSONTemplater the templater can handle &-characters. Of course I can do a work around bij replacing but that's not what I want. Has anyone an idea how to fix this?

The thing is some of the coordinates only have 2 points and some have 30+ to make up the lines. I can use AttributeSplitter and create lists, but they are inconsistent when I try to pull out the list using AttributeCreator as some only have 2 and some have 30+. I can split it using ",0;" and then split it again into a separate lat/long for each point. It seems like there has to be an easier way. How would should I go about extracting all of these lat/longs into a line? LineBuilder isn't working for me.   Thanks!

Is there any way I can use the http caller without an input (Can I start a process with that transformer)? My use case is that I'm trying to create Cityworks Inspections from File geodatabase records and update those inspections with records from the same File geodatabase. In order to do this I need to fetch all the Questions and Answers from the Inspection template to get a list of all the question ID's and Answer ID's. From there I need to somehow map the FGDB records to those Answer values based on the ID's. This would be simpler if I could just call the Cityworks API through the http caller to fetch all of the information as JSON without needing to feed in my GDB s an input. Essentially I want a list of all possible questions and answers for an inspection template to be used later on without having to first feed something into the http caller. Hope this makes sense. I am using system caller in child workbench which trigger 3rd party service using command line and start the process e.g. abc.exe in windows. Sometimes process get stuck at their server and I am not able to get the status of the same, hence child workbench continue until any response gets from System caller. Is there any solution to kill the 3rd party process using windows process name or ID if its taking more than a particular time e.g. 1 hr?Note: I am using FME Desktop with concurrent process of 3 jobs, so it should kill only the process which are not getting finished within 1 hr.Can anyone help me on this?

I am extracting Shapefile. Coordinates are reversed. LONGITUDE, LATITUDE. I need to invert to latitude, longitude.location original is in Brazil but show in Atlantic Ocean. reading -54,-31 but correct is -31,-54 degreess. How do I fix the problem?

I'm writing CityGML buildings with xlink's to the surfaces. A few surfaces are donuts. For these surfaces, the xlink is created in the list with surfacemembers, but the id is missing in the geometry of the surface. Does anybody know what the problem is?

I have the first two pieces worked out thanks to some support from our community. Thanks again to @jdh for the support yesterday with JSON parsing. My workbench features two API calls. GET JOBS LISTGET JOBS DATAThey both work, but GET JOBS DATA is currently hard coded for one job.  I'm trying to loop through features within an attribute (JOB_ID) so that the GET JOB DATA API call can be looped against the JOBIDs from the JOBS LIST. How can I use looping to iterate a list of features into that API call? Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide!
