Enable the Feature Information window - this will show all the properties for the selected feature
You can also create a filter that will show only the filtered features in the table
Remember that ArcGIS is a fully fledged GIS, whereas FME (Data Inspector/Visual Preview) is simply a tool to view data. Often i'll check data in ArcGIS instead of Data Inspector as I know i want to do more complex filtering/validation
I am wanting to use the visual preview to assess the results of a workspace.
Using the Select tool I draw a box around an area of features (highlighted here in yellow).
The 27 records of 15,367 highlight in blue in the Table View, but are buried among the entire dataset. How do I (temporarily) focus the table on just the 27 selected features?
I can "Save Selected" out to an Excel spreadsheet, but that seems to be an unnecessary step for a quick review of the data.
Yap, the DataInspector is sufficient for a quick look at your data, but for more I took a normal (Q)GIS. Some feature for inspecting data like sorting or see all highlight items in the viewer are missing.
