Is FME Server compatible with ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Engine?

If a user wishes to use FME Server with ESRI products/functionality, please be aware of the following:
- If the end user is using FME Server with ArcGIS, they must use ArcGIS Enterprise (formerly “ArcGIS Server”)
- ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Engine are not for use in “server environments”
- Having ArcGIS Desktop on the same machine as FME server so that FME Server can exploit some functionality (eg GP, python scripts, etc) is not permitted in the Esri license
