The IfcZone groups are currently not supported by the FME reader. As these groups become more and more common in BIM models for building authorizations, I think it would be worth adding support of this type in the IFC reader.
For the IFC writer, this would require allowing editing of groups, which is a bit trickier as it adds a new paradigm. It would nevertheless be interesting too!
