Restoring FME Server Version Control After Upgrade

Please make the restoration of FME Server Version Control after upgrade more intuitive. This could be done by:

1) Prompting to fetch from remote immediately after a restore, or
2) Silently fetching from remote after a restore.

Currently the back/restore tool will restore FME Server Version Control settings, but you have to fetch from remote before making any commits in FME Server to avoid remote ref and local ref errors (ie a sync to remote is needed before making changes in FME Server).

Thanks for your suggestions @FMELizard. I believe either option would be beneficial. A quick help for others would be to update the upgrade documentation to give information on what to do if you have version control configured. This would be most beneficial!

We've ran into this issue and has been a headache to resolve. We ended up having to discard any local changes because we don't want to corrupt the remote git repository. Then we had to go to each workspace in each FME Server repository and do a manual check-in to ensure remote repository had the latest version of our workspaces. (Would have been nice to be able to do a bulk check-in)

Two other ideas that came out of this where:

1.) It would also be nice to allow bulk actions for check-ins via the FME Server interface when viewing workspaces within a given repository.

2.) It would be nice to allow commits to be done when a "project" was imported. All items in the project would get the same check-in in source control.
