It would be great to have a transformer to add a comma separator (thousands separator) and specify the number of decimal places so that they appear in the table
There's a NumberSeparator transformer on the FME Hub that will do that. The AttributeRounder (or StringPadder) will handle the decimal places.

I think it doesn't make sense to change the numbers themselves to display them in a different way, you should be able to use the same number formatting as in your computer's locale both for inspecting and for inputting data
