FME Desktop 2022: A transformer to add a comma separator (thousands separator) and specify the number of decimal places,


 It would be great to have a transformer to add a comma separator (thousands separator) and specify the number of decimal places so that they appear in the table

    There's a NumberSeparator transformer on the FME Hub that will do that. The AttributeRounder (or StringPadder) will handle the decimal places.

    Hi, I posted this other idea regarding number formatting: https://community.safe.com/s/bridea/a0r4Q00000HsIZNQA3/get-number-formatting-from-locale. I think it doesn't make sense to change the numbers themselves to display them in a different way, you should be able to use the same number formatting as in your computer's locale both for inspecting and for inputting data
