The workspace completes successfully and FME's Data Inspector can select the layer.

The SDE30 writer can handle multiple geometries and is set to do this by default. When this is set, ArcGIS cannot read the table and doesn't display it.
To change this, explicitly set the feature type to use a single geometry in the format settings. For example, for polygons, you would set lines and points to "no".
