Hello,

I have a few DGN files where I want to separate the data depending on what layer they belong to.

In Microstation I can see that the objects in the file is on a level, ex "Växel spårspärr bef V". MicrostationLevelBut when I check the data in FME inspector all igds_level_names and fme_feature_type are set to "ECT_DGRM_RFPT_MARK".

FmelevelAnyone know why they are different and how to solve this?

Exactly which dgn reader are you using, and how is it configured?

When I use the "Bentley MicroStation Design (V8)" reader and make sure that the reader parameter Group Elements By = Level Names, then I usually get the results you seem to be looking for.

Hi David,

Yes this is exactly how I'm doing it, and usually it works fine.

This is the first time I am working with cells, if that has something to do with it.
