Hi,

I have two questions about writing from IFC to Revit:

  1. Is it possible to write objects such as walls or columns from IFC as actual Walls or Columns in Revit, rather than having them as Generic Models?
  2. I am using FME 2026.2, and when I write to Revit using a template file from either Revit 2024 or 2025, the output from FME is created in Revit 2026. Why does this happen? Is it possible to create the output from FME in Revit 2025?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @danii,

I’m sorry, but we are currently (FME 2026) only able to write Generic Models to Revit, and only write to the currently supported version.
