Hello ,

I am running workbench with caches .to check the result of each transformer .

 

I have main custom transformer includes many custom transformers .

when I make any changes inside the custom transformer  so I have to run the main custom transformer to see the results of changes for the inside custom  transformers .

but it takes long time and I have each time to wait when I make small changes inside it .

Could I run the transformers or custom transformers inside the main custom transformer  without running the main custom transformer for each time ? if possible ,How  ?

Hi @gogopotter90 this is the difficult part about nested custom transformers. If you are able to save the custom transformer to an FMX file you can then open this file in FME Workbench to edit separately and run separately. More info and resources on custom transformers here:

thanks a lot , I have tried to export custom transformer as steps 

but I have found that (export as custom transformer from file deactivated ) ,I did not know the reason  .

could you explain how to export the custom transformer in fmx format file .thanks
