VertexCreator odd behaviour

I have a workbench that creates output for bentley Microstation. While trying to debug an issue of cells not appearing in the output, I found the VertexCreator deleting an attribute igds_type (microstation format attribute) in the processed features. Pictured is a basic configuration for reproducing the conditions.

The version used is 2022.2. I have a simple workaround, but it did take a while to figure out what was going on.

I wouldn’t have expected this transformer to touch the attributes at all. Is there a reason for this and does it affect any other attributes?

Hi ​@rlacey The VertexCreator is actually working as intended and it will drop format attributes if the geometry changes. However, this behavior can be unexpected and FYI the issue has already been filed as FMEENGINE-81523.
