Trying to write to fmear with an input of kml (export from PLS-CADD)

I've gotten the basic fmear samples to work, and I've had good luck building an fmear output from 2d ArcGIS features from a file geodatabase.

Now I've got a kml export from PLS-CADD that a colleague gave me. It's already 3d, and I'm not sure how to go about preparing it for export to FMEAR. If I drag it into ArcGIS Pro, it definitely renders in 3d. Anyone got any tips?

My colleague also output the data as xml but I don't have an xsd so I can't make much sense of it.
