I try to clipp a tiff (dtm) with 1 shape with 1 plygon. Why do I get a clipped tiff but uniformly grey ? (I am under FME 2012 SP4 ).

What interpretation is your tiff, and what program are you viewing it in. It could simply be that your terrain values fall in such a short range of the available values of your interpretation, that they are appearing grey. In the case a dynamic stretch like min/max would be a good thing to use.

My viewer is ArcGis. In fact the stretching is not possible because I have the same unique value all the way out and that is where the problem lies.
