Hello,

I use the TemplateToDocumentBuilder. All numbers are formatted equally. I would like to format as current. 4233,78 --> 4.233,78 €

How can I do this?

The currency symbol and 1000s separator are not part of a double. They’re string presentation elements added to the double to provide context and readability for the user. Once they’re added, the value is no longer numeric and is therefore a string.

If you need to keep it as a double (for calculations or sorting), your best bet would be to make a new attribute that has the value as your required string presentation and keep the original as a double.

There’s a bit of a discussion here about doing that

Hello hkingsbury, thank you.

It seems to me like a string-editing? I would like to keep it as a double precision.
