Struggling to create ERS header (FME2015) without the huge datafile when I generate large ECW mosaics

Hi @steveking73: I think I understand your question, please correct me if I'm off the mark here. I'm assuming that you are writing your results from the RasterMosaicker using the ER Mapper ECW Writer (outputs .ecw file) and the ER Mapper ERS Writer (outputs .ers file and a datafile) and you are essentially only wanting the ERS Writer to generate the .ers file without the accompanying datafile? If so, unfortunately this isn't possible. There isn't an option in the writer to only output the .ers file.

Hi @Nampreet: thanks for your reply, yes that's it, its exactly the question I was asking. Shame there isn't a way of not creating the data file but I'll add it to the forum when I get a minute. We are upping our storage capacity by migrating to a cloud set-up so the additional space will help.
