MapText Labeller is an awesome plugin for producing labels in FME. However, it seems a little out of date with expected FME functionality.
Specifically, I was wondering if there are any plans to update the plugin to include functionality such as :
* Allow Ground Units to be linked to an attribute rather than a parameter.
* Allow ground units to not have to be available at the start of a workbench so they can be derived from a calculation in the workbench and then used.
* Allow things such as text size and font style to be linked to an attribute.
* Provide a group by functionality so you can pass multiple map frames into one transformer. Currently you need to use a looper as a workaround.
* General upgrade - the map text labeller version that this plug in is using is quite behind the actual version Maptext uses outside of FME now.
