All,

I currently have FME Viewer 2012 SP4 and am trying to load an AutoCAD .dwg file supplied to me by an end user.  However, I am getting an error in the log as followed:

"FME API version of module 'REALDWG' matches current internal version (3.7 20111219) AutoCAD Reader: Unknown or unsupported version of AutoCAD file 'AC1027'. Most recent supported version is 'AC1024', which is also known as 'Release2010'"

Does upgrading to FME 2013 fix this, or is it a known issue being worked through?

Thanks for any help in advance!
Hi Nick,

from the list of news in FME2013 SP1, this looks like it might be relevant to your question:

 ACAD,CIVIL3D: Added general DWG 2013 support and limited 2010-2012 Civil support (C28401 C47466 C47934 C51809 C52068 C60900 C61156 C62407 C65082 C67988 C68333 C71674 PR#30797 PR#39438 PR#39483)

I would simply download and install FME2013 SP1 and test. You can have both versions installed on the same machine without problems, just make sure you specify a different location than the one used by FME2012 during installation.

David,

Thanks for the quick reply! I will give this a shot, but it might not be until the end of next week that I let you know if it helped.  I am on vacation until April 10th at the end of today :)

Have a good one!

Nick
