Hi,

 

 

have a look at the AreaOnAreaOverlayer (http://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Transformers/Default.htm#Transformers/areaonareaoverlayer.htm) and the likes. You can filter the results on the "_overlaps" attribute to control whether you want the union, difference, etc.

Hi,

 

 

depending on the purpose, the Clipper could be also used.

 

I think the image in this page is similar to Clipper's result (Inside + Outside).
