With the CAT reader, I'm loading a text file many small numbers, some of which are automatically converted to scientific numbers in the Visual Preview. These then become impossible to work because, for some reason, any transformations of the data are based on those scientific numbers rather that the decimal numbers. Is there a way to disable this automatic transformation from decimal to scientific numbers?

Hi @_harmen thanks for your question! I'm not sure that there is a way to disable this, and is not unique among that specific reader. However, you should be able to still perform transformations on these numbers that are in scientific notation. e.g. the AttributeRounder, Sorter, StatisticCalculator, and converting these to a different numerical type such as real64 should still work.
What transformations are you trying to perform that are not having an expected outcome?
