Can you post the error?

Agree with @hkingsbury​ that providing the error or full log would help.

I'm thinking that translating a point cloud to CityGML will require some transformations and the Quick Translator may not the best option. Consider creating a workspace using FME Workbench. Here are some resources that may help you get started:
