I have an Excel dataset and I want to translate features to different formats. I don't know what is the best practice? should I create multiple workspace with multiple readers and writers or one workspace and several readers and writers?

or one reader and several writers? and there are some extra output feature must be derived from open data first.

What the best practice is depends on a lot of different things. Personally, I would use one workspace, one (Feature)Reader and multiple (Feature)Writers.
