Question

How to get XY coordinates of a leader line of a Simple Line Callout (ArcGIS Annotation)

I can get the XY coordinates for a leader line from a Line Callout annotation using the anchor point and the WKT string. But the WKT text string is empty for a leader line of a Simple Line Callout features. Similarly, the "geodb_text_lc_textbox_x1" values are not available. So, how can I get at the XY coordinate values of the leader line?

Thanks,

Gido

@gidolangen Do you have a small sample File Geodatabase that you can share with the community that would illustrate the type of Simple Call Out you're working with. Then we can be sure we're trying to extract the X/Y from teh same type of annotaiton.

I figured it out after all. I had set Split Multi-part Annotation to Yes which caused issues. I really appreciate your followup.
