I am trying to use FME for a FULL CAD to GIS conversion and was wondering if there is a way to change CAD symbology to what we currently use in our GIS? Example,  Fire Hydrant block/symbol in cad is a circle and would like to convert that to the fire hydrant symbol in ArcMAP?  Possible?

ArcMap sybols are in a acces database, even if the extension (.style) makes u think its not.

(U can check this by changing the extention to .mdb and open it using acces)

As such you should be able to acces it through fme.
