My FME Workspace opens without any issues, but when I try to run it I get an error stating the log file cannot be opened.. It specifies a directory I do not have access to – what can I do??

This can be set per workspace by setting the value for the Workspace Parameters > Logging > Log File parameter.

Your FME Workspace has a parameter to set the location and name of the log file.

You will find it in the Workspace parameters section of the Navigator Window (with a yellow cod wheel).

It seems this parameter does not allow for the specification of a file directory. My question is if I define the file directory and the log name through this parameter, will my time stamp settings (Tools >FME Options > Translation >) be respected? Currently I am saving all logs because my workbench is a scheduled task and we only go look at it the logs when an issue is brought to our attention. I DO NOT want my logs to be overwritten.
