Hi, in the list of the supported formats (https://www.safe.com/integrate/) I can't find CIM XML so I'd Like to know if it's possible to read and write it. Thansk a lot and best regards.

Hi @matteo,

Thanks for your question! I believe we should be able to read CIM XML using the XML reader, according to Mark's answer from this Q&A thread. Unfortunately it doesn't look like we have writing capability just yet. We've got an internal enhancement request tracked as (FMEENGINE-60961) that looks like it's ready for work, but there's no timeline just yet.

 

 

I've created an idea on adding support for a CIM XML writer, if you're interested in upvoting and sharing your use case there, it helps inform development of your interest. Following the idea will also notify you when the status of the idea changes.
