I would like to utilise FME to perform an update on a table a Slowly Changing Dimension (Type 2) . Where historical records are preserved, and you have Start, End dates and a Current flag for each record.
While the Change Detector transformer helps, it will still require some tricky manipulation.
I did find this article but can't see the detail...
It would be great if there was a ETL Transformer that could do this.
Any help would be appreciated.
