I want to read the contents of a SEGY file. FME has a SEGY reader which displays the content as Binary. I need help converting the binary content into something useful.

I have no idea what I'm looking at, but it certainly is pretty!

When you say "something useful", what would that be?

It is a scan of the seabed and I wanted some values out, which should make sense just like the picture. I'm not sure how they are saved in the file. Therefore I would like to see some "plain" text instead of binary data. what is hiding in the columns.
